August 7th, 2018 | Pihtipudas boat dock | A small parking lot next to lake. Quiet place for the night. Cyclists can get to the covered firebit what is at the south end of small gravel path. Go down to the lake from Shell gas station and keep to the south 150 or so meters. |

July 28th, 2018 | At the lake | Official rest spot near the main road. You can drive between the trees right next to the lake. There is a small wooden pier and also a small swing in the lake. Good spot for overnight or just a quick swim brake from the driving |
July 27th, 2018 | Rechnikov village | Its a church gravel parking lot right next to big Volkhov river. Local fishermen where extremely lucky with caching fish in high regularity. Nice place to dip into the river with very hot summer days. Ok to spend a night |

March 14th, 2018 | Playa de Solymar | After looking up most of the places on this strech this place is definitely the best for us. Pretty close to the white sand beach and enough away from the road. The view to the see is not blocked off by sand tunes and no private houses around like most of the other places on this side of the Montevideo. Turn off to this place is from green post number 19. At day time 5-6 other cars but nobody at night time. There is small fish market at the entrance road. Montevideo centre is 20min away. |
March 13th, 2018 | On the beach, (almost). | Parking is near the road or in front of someone’s house. Did not stay |
March 13th, 2018 | Near the beach | In front of someone’s house, again. Did not stay |
March 13th, 2018 | Auto lavado | Good for bigger riggs. They did a decent job. Had to show them a bit what kind of quality i was looking for and then after that all was good. 1300 pesos for a 7meter long and 3,45m high Sprinter box. Somewhat expensive. As we where delayed by Grimaldi we visited another carwash what was much cheaper and with the same quality. Have made entry for that as well |
March 13th, 2018 | Next To The Beach | In front of someone’s house. Not the nicest place to park |
March 12th, 2018 | water tap at the park | With a not so welcoming gas stations, this is a nice spot to get your water tank filled. Stayed on the beach not far from here and used this tap twice |
March 11th, 2018 | Beach camping | Indeed a nice spot. Stayed here for couple of days until someone complained about us to the Uruguayan navy and they came to investigate. Friendly guys. Informed us that someone filed a complaint and its not allowed by law to sleep/camp straight at the beach. Day time use is fine. Just park prox. 5km east fom here on the beach/river spot and its hidden enough for nobody to care. Maybe... |
March 7th, 2018 | Laguna de San Vicente | Nice little lake near the Buenos Aires. Long green stretch where to park.
February 27th, 2018 | Reserva Cabo Auricosta | The access road to here isn’t that good but you definitely don’t need 4wd to drive here. There is no wind cover if you drive to the left from Y junction. Any size or make rig will do just fine if you drive to the right side from Y junction. Just go slow. Plenty of spaces to choose from. |
February 26th, 2018 | Paso San Sebastian, Porvenir, Chile to Paso San Sebastian, Rio Grande, Argentina | From Chile to Argentina. Quick service as always when exiting Chile. Stamp your passport out and then canceled the TIP. Just in the side from Aduana there is SAG table. Get a stamp on your paper slip from here as well. There’s should be 3 stamps on that small paper wat you get from immigration. Nobody checked the car. Argentinian side is 14km away. Don’t forget to take the paper slip with you when you walk in, as we did. Same thing here. First immigration, then Aduana for car. Drive to the gate and guy comes out to take this paper slip. Argentinian immigration and Aduana will both stamp it also. Had to open the back door but they didn’t went in. |

February 15th, 2018 | Parque Patagonia – Westwinds | We parked here with our Sprinter and nice ranger came to to money collecting round at 17:30. Had good information for the Lagunas Altas hike and warnings about pumas in the park. Guanacos are plenty so pumas are thriving as well. Paid for one person 8000 pesos, we are 2 traveling, as we don’t use the facilities and only needed a legal place to park inside the National Park. It is just a gravel parking lot. Also only 8 tents where up when we where here. More Guanacos then prople in this campground.

February 14th, 2018 | Excursiones El Condor | Its really an eatery where they will call a boat captain and arrange the meeting in front. 10thousand per person and you will pay directly to the captain. All the local tour agents will ask the same price. |

Did all the hikes we could in Pumalin and decided to just show up today at 5ish and asked is it possible to fitnus in the 23:00 leaving ferry. It was! People here are super friendly and if you show up early enough they will but you in the next boat. Have to have the reservation before you show up here. Whatever dates, they didn’t care. Boat is full and some 8 passenger cars where left waiting on shore. I quess they will be on the tomorrow’s 7:00 one.

February 5th, 2018 | Lonesome Bay, Close To Ahui | Stayed for 3 nights. First 2 we where the only ones day and night. Last day there was 6 different cars packed with local families. Beach is long and everyone had their private spots. On the road here there is a couple of signs with 2,90m hight restriction. Its for the low hanging telephone lines over the road at some places. We are 3,45m and where ok. |
