March 10th, 2020 Overlander Oasis

We were, again at Overlander Oasis and again it was a wonderful experience. We had a very nice time with the other travellers and with Leanne and Calvin. They treat their guests if they are family, can give you a lot of information about the area and if you have a technical problem Calvin knows a solution. Best place also to visit El Tule, a nice little town

February 7th, 2020 Overlander Beach Campsite “Don Taco”.

Everything is said already about this wonderful place except it’s getting better and better. Forget about the 13 km dirt road only think about the reward you get once you reach Don Taco

February 5th, 2020 El Capi

Best restaurant on Playa San Agustin. The food is delicious, you sit on the beach under a nice palapa. El Capi, the owner, is a very nice man and his wife is one of the best cooks we found in Mexico.

January 23rd, 2020 Jose's Camping And Cabanas

Nice place, big sites to park. Every site has electricity, water, sewer. Toilets are clean and flush well, shower works perfect, it’s cold but who cares. A lot of birds in the campground trees. Maybe they have to clean up a little bit but again who cares, there are only a few old chairs and tables and that’s no dirt. 250 peso with electricity and that’s a fair price for what you get.

January 22nd, 2020 Talisman, Chiapas, Mexico to El Carmen, San Marcos, Guatemala

We went over to Mexico Talisman. I don’t know where all the stories come from but it went very smooth and easy. Of course you need to go to migracion for your passport and to the aduana for your car, that’s s normal. We were 4 years in South America and we did a lot of border crossings, and also in Central America, USA and Canada. This was the easiest we had in 13 years travelling.

January 22nd, 2020 Talisman, Chiapas, Mexico to El Carmen, San Marcos, Guatemala

What we tell here is for both sides Guatemala and Mexico. In Mexico they check your car inside but they were nice and friendly and let us keep the few vegetables we had. I think a lot of people make to much about all this things, everything what they did here was perfectly normal

January 20th, 2020 Mr Jeff

This is a very good laundry and very clean. People are nice and helpful, we brought our laundry at 10 in the morning, even a bed cover for dry cleaning. Everything was ready at 5 in the afternoon, clean and super fresh.

January 9th, 2020 Bahia Atitlan Inn

This place has an incredible view, you can park on the grass close to the lake. It’s 75Qpp and that’s to expensive because the toilets and the showers are disgusting. It’s sad they have a place with a lot of possibilities but cleaning the toilet is to much work for them. I talked with them and I used the toilet in the hotel. Don’t go back thetoilets is to m

January 6th, 2020 Mision Surf Mexico

Mission Surf is a Nice place to spend a few days. The people are very welcoming and friendly, they are always around when you need them. I loved the nice and clean swimming pool. Toilets and showers are clean and it was possible to do my laundry, they have 2 machines. Very relaxing place.

January 6th, 2020 Overlander Beach Campsite “Don Taco”.

Everything is already said about this wonderful place but it’s getting better and better. Don’t worry about the 13 km dirt road, you get a big reward once you reach Don Taco.

March 14th, 2019 Overlander Oasis

Overlander Oasis is a wonderful place. This little Campground under the trees is really an oasis and a meeting point for travellers. Nice bathroom and shower with hot water. Leanne and Calvin are very friendly and helpful and they can give you a lot of information about the area. Calvin can help you with car problems and if he can't fix it, he knows someone who can. Sometimes they organise cooking classes or burger evenings and that's why the atmosphere is so good on this place. We loved it

November 22nd, 2018 Overlander Beach Campsite “Don Taco”.

This place is a hidden gem, it's paradise. You're park by the beautiful beach where you can swim. The campground is very clean and the toilets and shower are awesome. There's also an outdoor kitchen, a very nice palapa with tables and chairs and the wifi works perfect. The owners are very helpful and they do everything to make you feel comfortable. This is the nicest campground we found in Mexico.

November 2nd, 2018 Public Parking

Parking lot very close to the Zocalo and all the important places in Oaxaca. 10 peso for an hour, very safe place because the family lives here to. Owner is very helpful, if you want he brings you with his car somewhere in Oaxaca. The wifi works very good. Some people think it's a camping but it's just a parking lot where you can sleep, so it's stupid to complain about cold or hot shower and the wifi. Wifi, toilet etc... is something extra on a parking lot.

October 29th, 2018 Mercedes Oaxaca

We needed some repair on our Mercedes Sprinter 4 x 4. Very nice people, very helpful. Olivia speaks very good English and she will help you as much as she can.

March 2nd, 2018 La Estrella Polar

Nice Campground , at the beach, with a beautiful swimming pool. Very clean bathrooms, showers with hot water. Staff is very friendly and there's a good restaurant at the site. Wifi works perfect. This is the cleanest campground we visited in Mexico.

February 19th, 2018 Via Centennario

Nice Campground on walking distance from the Mission San Miguel Conca. Nice garden, swimming pool, toilets, shower. Turn off Mex 69 to Conca in front of Pemex. Name of the road : Ramal y Conca. 8 km from nice river to swim. Friendly people.

January 28th, 2018 Morro de Mazatlan

There was a roadblock This morning, they blocked the whole road. After An hour we were able to pay them 200 peso and they let us go on. It's on the 200 between Salina Cruz and Huatalco

January 27th, 2018 Pemex Ciudad Ixtepec - OK, FREE

We spend the night here, also from the Cuota side. Very quiet and safe in the night. There was a very friendly night guard, he didn't ask for money but we gave him tip.

January 26th, 2018 Rancho Hermanos Graham

Don't go to this place. It's closed and the people of Pemex or Oxxo don't have a key. They told us it was possible to spend the night on there parking lot for 150 peso. We just filled up our tank for 1000 peso. It was dark and it was raining and we were tired. I made a lot of noise and asked for the manager, then the lady said it was ok we didn't have to pay. I hate this

December 22nd, 2017 Casa Rayo De Sol

This place is paradise. Nice clean shower and toilet, concrete pads to sit and watch the Ocean. The owners are very nice and helpful people. The only problem we had was that it's so hard to leave, we wanted to stay forever.

December 13th, 2017 Commercial Parking Lot

We spend 2 weeks on this place. It's a nice place, close to the restaurants and the bars.Raul, the manager, is a very nice man and very helpful and so is Manuel the night guy. We left our solar panel outside and the windows open when we were in town for 2 days and they took good care of our car. Perfect spot to discover Guadalajara.
