March 12th, 2020 | Camping Dragus | WC locked and showers appear to be neglected and in disrepair. Perhaps they will be repaired in the spring? We camped across the stream next to the picnic bench. Lots of room for tents and plenty of vans/campers. Great spot. not much wood around. |
March 2nd, 2020 | Beach in a cove | Great spot to park/camp. You can drive out on to the concrete pier, or on to the beach. little stream meets the ocean. Not much fire wood around. A few people around but pretty quiet. |

February 27th, 2020 | Camping Velingrad | 5 star campsite resort. Don't skip this place if you're in Bulgaria. It's a 5 star facility with all modern amenities. It's like a spa resort for campers. Unlimited access to Finnish sauna, salt room, steam room, massive outdoor mineral hot tub, indoor and out door pools, relaxation room, there's a kid's room and outdoor play set. There's a huge dining room with cooking area and fridge with a vending machine with beer in it! Restaurants and bars across the street, grocery store a 5 minute bike ride. Christina the manager is a great host and will make sure you have everything you need. We paid €35 for 2 adults and our van which includes water, electricity, WC dump and free access to washer and dryer as well! There is space for tents but I am unsure if they allow them, so would call to check. Can't recommend enough, treat yourself for excellent value. You can Google Camping Velingrad to find their website for more info. |

February 21st, 2020 | Public parking | Appears to be a lake once more. Nice spot, quiet night. |
February 18th, 2020 | Hill top meadow | Easy access if not wet. On the other side of the hill from the parking lot your can access a little track that had some for pits and some level ground for vans or anything more capable. Probably not for larger motorhomes. Definately walk it first but it was no problem with a LWB sprinter 2wd. Lots of tent space etc. |

February 16th, 2020 | Submarine Bunker camp | Small spot at the end of a switch back. Could fit two vans of you were friends. Fine for bikes and tents. Fire pit and concrete structure to put chairs on and watch the sun set. Walk 75 m down to the sub base and explore. 4x4s could camp on the water at the sub base but there is a shelf drop off to negotiate at the bottom. awesome spot. |
February 14th, 2020 | Pine Forest at Arza beach | Nice spot. clearing on your left as you approach the Fortress. It's private property but the guy who looks after it came by and welcomed us to stay. Beautiful scenery and listen to the waves crashing on the rocks. Great spot, highly recommended! |

February 5th, 2020 | Old open air bar | Nice spot, made it in no problem with a LWB sprinter 2wd. 4x4 not necessary. Low clearance or large motor homes not recommended. Nice views, firewood good for a night! |
February 4th, 2020 | Riverside with a view | Great spot next to a big river. Very private, loads of fire wood. The road in looks tight and scary but it's really not. It's good surface just below the muddy top. Access was no problem with 6.5 m LWB 2wd sprinter. Elaborate motorhomes may want to walk it first to be sure. Lots of room for bikes and tents. 5 star camping! |

January 26th, 2020 | Open field by the sea | A level spot in a grass field behind a military buulding. A few sheep and Donkeys roaming around. A couple locals walked by with big smiles and waves. Great walks on the beach around the lagoon. With a 4x4 or dry weather you could keep driving down the track to the right and get to the beach to park as well. After dark a soldier turned up asked for passports so he could take a picture of them. We were happy to after I checked his ID. |

January 15th, 2020 | Near River | Access is pretty rough. Looks like the awuaduct recently gave way and washed out the track. getting down would be no problem but getting back up without 4x4 will be tricky. Didn't attempt in a LWB 2WD sprinter. Any 4x4 or bike will be fine |
January 14th, 2020 | In the rock circle | Added this waypoint as the other other one shows just outside. This one will take you inside the "walls". Any vehicle can manage the road in and there's loads of room for vehicles of any size. Definately worth a visit. hike to the top and look over the cliffs. Bring your own firewood if you want one. If Ali-Nomad is here he will try to sell you some treasures but what he would really love is an ice cold beer! An interesting character who seems to be here to meet people and have a laugh rather than hustle, hes not pushy at all. We had a couple beers with Ali while he showed us some interesting fossils embedded in the rock. I found a couple in the sand as well. One of the highlights in Morocco. Was used in a scene in James Bond Spectre |
January 14th, 2020 | Trees in the dunes | A few good spots amongst the small dunes and under trees. Nice views, very quiet. Lots of room and some fire pits. Close to town but totally out of sight. Super low tire pressure in 2wd to get to this exact spot 😆 There is a well about 100m from here |

January 2nd, 2020 | Rose Valley hotel | While family from out of town were here to visit they got a couple of rooms, The hotel let us park out front and use facilities for free. The also have a secure courtyard that they offered us to park in but the street was flat and seemed secure. Good food at the restaurant. 100D set menu for 3 course meal. Likely they would allow you to park for a night if you stayed at the restaurant. Helpful friendly people. |

December 29th, 2019 | Tangier Terminal | Taking FRS ferries from Tarifa to Tangier.
After you disembark, proceed to first passport check and then vehicle import and inspections. Be sure to get the credit card sized temporary vehicle import card and keep it for leaving Morocco. You will also need this for purchasing vehicle insurance for Morocco which is mandatory. Once you've cleared the inspection, find somewhere to park before leaving the Port gates, there is a large are to park immediately to your right when the let you past the inspection area. (Drones are not aloud in Morocco without a permit) There is an ATM in the car park that only cost 35D per transaction. You can buy Insurance and exchange cash in the Gate Maritime building. The insurance broker speaks fluently in French and English. I paid 920D for 1 month for a long wheel Sprinter campervan with Canadian plates. Sim cards can be got from any shop or street side hustler for cheap. |
