Nice, well maintained campground with dump station on site. Wifi works very well. Now 30R/P.

***Warning***: We really liked the spot and the view on top of the hill. But during the day several locals turned up and all warned us not to stay overnight. It might not be safe anymore. Supposedly armed robberies and drug dealings occured.

Campground with beach access and pool. Big rig note: no problem. In high season 60R/pP.

Nice and quiet place in mid week. We paid 30'000 pP with a big rig. They now have wifi.

Nice free campsites along the river. There are several spots: for small rigs under trees and for bigger rigs there is a huge grass area at the end of the little road. Good fishing.

This place is closed for vehicles.

New prizes: 8000pP in low season, 10000pP in high season. Nice place to get a few days off from travelling. Good restaurant. Big rig note: everything above 3m in height is scratchy (tress im the driveway)

Coming from Chile to Bolivia: The Bolivian Customs at this boarder take away as well all the fresh food (like Chile does): veggies, fruits, meat, cheese. It's a very slow going boarder.

Close to town. Not the prettiest surrounding, but worked well for us. 5000p/P.

A stunning place. One of the most beautiful hotsprings we've seen so far.

Flamingo-Viewpoint at the Salar de Surire. Very quiet. No facilities. Beautiful landscape.

An okey place to spend the night... Shelter from the wind nearby. But at our time of visit, the river had too less water for a bath.

Big rig note: At the beginning, the road up to the Geysirs is good (some small rivercrossings). But the last 2km get very narrow. But we made it with our 11m/15t truck.

Just a car park. No facilities. But very quiet. Nice scenery and nice hot pools (30B/Person).

Good laundry. They wash with hot water. Good sevice!

We camped outside the hostel for free and just paid 15Bol for the wifi. Really nice owner. Extremely quiet at night. It's a relaxing place!

Good location to stay near Puno. Very quiet. Fast WiFi. Big rigs: it's tight, but doable. Not much space inside.

Nice canyon. Really worth a visit. Highly recommended. And so quiet. We liked it and did a short steep but scenic hiking trail.

Big parking lot. Big rig note: if you drive from Cusco and want to avoid the narrow streets in the town, follow the truck route which goes around town on the left side just before the hughe wall. Then you have to drive a little bit back towards the town. It's possible to drive thru it (all the tourbusses do). But the other way might be easier.

It's better to arrive at late afternoon (the gate closes probably at 5pm). And get up early to see the salinas before the crowd arrives (arround 9am). Very quiet night.

Nothing to complain. We had a nice and quiet stay.

We went down to this spot after the hike to spend the night (very quiet). Otherwise it could have gotten difficult to get out of the parking at the trailhead the other morning (the first tour busses arrive at 6am).

Big rig note: there are 1 or 2 almost leveled spots for big rigs. But you have to wait until the minibuses leave (16.00). Very quiet at night. Tight switchbacks and villages. Max. length 10m.

Hughe, quiet. Off the road. Nice view on Laguna Salinas. A bit high with 4352 m. The street up here from Arequipa has a height restriction of approx. 3.8 m, else bug rigs are fine.

Very, very quiet place. Nice to spend the night here. You need sone time to explore the site to find some of the over 5000 petroglyphs. Really worth the drive! Also easy doable for big rigs!

Currently most roads are blocked and under construction. In our opinion not worth the visit until december.

We found this nice place while we drove to Punta Winchus. Stayed here for the night. No one showed up. Big flat area, room for many vehicles. Nice view to the Cordillera Blanca.
