May 23rd, 2016 | Hostal Butch Cassidy | It's on the opposite of the street. You can book it before [email protected] , but it's not necessary. For 2 people we paid 180 Bop and the breakfast was great with fresh juice, different types of bread, fresh fruits with yogurt, pancakes. There is a safe parking place behind and they have also a garage for bigger ricks. The stuff is very friendly and helpful and also the hostel is very clean. It's possible to use the kitchen for cooking and right there is a shop. |

May 14th, 2016 | Toyota Centro | It's not the official Toyota Garage, but Miguel, the owner collected more than 14 years experience at different places and has got also some degrees. So we went to different Mechanics in 10 month in S.A., but here i saw first time those things. He speaks also a little English , which is enough to understand all the important meanings. The garage is well equipped and clean. He also have clients with VW, Fiat ... He explained everything to us, before he start and told us the prices for the parts. One Zylinder was not working and 2 of 4 injections has to change as well, he found this problem very quick, but we had to wait 2 days for the right parts. Until now, it is probably the best adress for mechanical issues in the north. And the price was more than fair. Highly recommended. |

May 2nd, 2016 | Camping Municipal Santa Maria | We stayed there for a couple of days and we saw, that they cleaned the bathroom everyday. The hot shower is working also in the little yellow building and hey we paid more for really shity places in Argentinia, so what do you expect? We stayed on several municipals and the people here are really nice and it's hard to pay 30 Pesos for 2 people and a car. And the internet is not so bad, either. |
May 2nd, 2016 | Miguel Lera | He is a specialist for electrical problems. He found the problem with our car very quickly and fixed it in 30 min. a bit more and we paid 50 Arg Pesos.

March 15th, 2016 | Seaside Parking | It's just possible to camp here in the off season. Next to the car park is a bar and other houses. Some locals came in the evening, but quite at night. You've got plenty of lights, good for cooking, bad for sleeping. From here you can cross the river and walk to Cabo Polonio, it's about 7 km. |

March 8th, 2016 | 33 Orientales | That's a huge grassy areas with lots of shade. But it isn't for free. It's cost you 200 Uru per place, doesn't matter if you're travelling with 2 or 10 peoples. They have wifi, which is ok and it is really clean. I'm pretty sure you can stay there for free, nobody will come. But hey, many people work there for little money and it is just fair to pay for it. When i asked the ladies at the office, if this place was free for tourists in the past, they were surprised, it was never free, does't matter where the people came from. |
March 4th, 2016 | Camping Piedras Coloradas | Now you pay 70 Arg Pesos per person and 70 for car. This place are now under construction from the heavy rain in the end of the year. For the moment it isn't very busy and so it's quiet at night. The bathrooms are ok. They is a little mercado, which is running just in the season. There are firepits and power at several places. At some places are tables and seats. For the moment the wifi is not working, they told me. |

February 10th, 2016 | Bahia Bustamante Reserva de Aves | It's still free for camper and you can also use the toilets. It' s like a little village with all the amenities sabbatical described before. It's belong to a company and they harvest seaweeds as well. Probably not one of the nicest spot, but interesting and before we paid a lot for shity camps.. The only thing is to open the gate and close it, after you got in. The sign in front of is even in english, which says camper are welcome. |
February 9th, 2016 | Estancia La Paloma | To expensive for what you get. He charge now 200 ARG Pesos. The Toilets are dirty and smelly and the water is running poorly. The only good thing is the big kitchen to use. In the night from 9 to 11 the generator is running and that's the only time to charge your stuff. |
February 9th, 2016 | Estancia La Paloma | 200 Arg Pesos for 2 people. Would't go there, they are lots of places on the road, which have good wind protection. |
February 9th, 2016 | Bosque Petrificado free | The street isn't so bad, an the valley with all the different colors is worth to go there and yes of course the stone trees. The ranger was very kind, he gave me a binocular and a sit to see the stone trees, because of my broken foot. |

February 2nd, 2016 | Taller Becerra - Ask For Christian | Don't go there. Now he is really expensive, when i compare it with all the other ones we went. And the half what he did, was broken after 2 days. Eduardo from Hostal Independencia told us he is a real mecanic, he fix the old parts. For example, we lost one cover from our front lights. Instead to fix it, he bought 2 new lights, without asking us , because we're talking before about different things. That was cheap chino stuff he bought ,we think and after 2 days they didn't work any more. But we were to far away to come back. And some other parts. So if you don't want to waste your money and time, go for another one. Even when Eduardo recommended him. |
February 2nd, 2016 | Hostel Independencia | We went here for the second time in 2 weeks. For camping it's a very tiny place and it's fits probably 3 travel car's. It's a really busy place, but thats ok. Eduardo is very friendly and helpful and always in action. The bathrooms a very clean, couldn't get cleaner for that amount of people. The price for camping is 5000 Clp and for a bed its 8000. For the fantastic breakfast he charge 1000 Clp. We can highly recommend this place. |
December 26th, 2015 | Camping Nadis | We stayed at this amazing place for 4 nights and celebrated christmas there. The sourounding is awsome and the host are very nice and helpful. We went several times in Lilis garden to buy for little money fresh vegies. And she made fresh bread. The refugio was until now the nicest one in chile. It's possible to use the fully equiped and very clean kitchen. The bath is also clean and has a really hot shower.

November 26th, 2015 | Don Mario | We stayed there for 4 days. The owner was very friendly and helpful to create our rolling cabaƱa. The shower is cold, but in summertime it's doesn't matter. We paid 6000 for 2 and 500 extra for shower. He is a really creative person and built some little fancy things by himself. It's also possible to use the kitchen with a fridge, oven and some more in the common area. You have also an own acess to the wonderful beach which is near the cape. The bath and everything was clean. You've got tables, firepits and plenty of seats, also in the shade. One of our best campground in Chile. Even, when he is not around, open the gate and go in. At least he will arrive in the evening. |
