Big parking lot of a big shopping center, open 24 hours, pay parking (6 pesos per hour), security on site (also 24 hours).
Just in front of e.g. Walmart (7-23 h), Scotia Bank, Sam's Club etc. and other shops and fast food restaurants. More shopping across the street.

Safe and quiet place to stay at night. Public transportation/taxi nearby.
We spent a night and felt safe.

The best place to explore the city! We stayed 3 nights, quite and save.

Big unpaved parking lot next to the fishermen place, a hotel is nearby. Very nice place and view, quiet at night. We were lucky to see some whales. It is possible to buy fresh fish directly from the fishermen when they return in the afternoon.

Nice beach but a little tricky to find. First we came on 19 from south, Los Cabos. But the bridge to cross under has not enough clearance for big rigs. Then we trusted our GPS which was unfortunately leading us first on a private ranchland further north on 19 with dead end.
So best access for big rigs is, as described below, the turnoff at the sign to "Pescadero Palace". Small sign only and visible best coming from north. Turnoff is a little south of km-marker 61!
At the beach, you will end at a beach bar with small campground, but just before that sign of private property, there is space to stay overnight for free.

streetparking under palms! absolutly o.k. for a night or two, quiet at night, busy at day. most of the other parking cars will leave after 7pm (maybe employees from the hotel). wifi only with hotel-guestname and hotel-roomnumber.

now they have a volume meter to count the water volume! verry frindly english speaking staff.

ATTENTION!!!! Stolen money!
Passed this checkpoint today. One of the guys checking our RV has STOLEN 50 USD out of my jacket which was still in the drivers cab.
Both guys asked us to leave the cab, one of them started checking the interior, while I watched him. Then the other guy came and blocked my view, so I could not look after the first guy anymore.
When checking my belongings after the "inspection", I missed a 50 USD note. When I shouted out a little bit louder, the first guy returned the money to me.
So, travelers, be cautious, never let the guys in your car alone!!

Big sandy parking behind the salt factory, right at a lagoon. be prepared: some folks checking out there newest car hifi at night and having a party... but save!

Approx. 5km south of Puertecitos, rocky road/track down to the lava beach. Quite at night even the main road is near by.

realy quite place! we drove down on the beach (4x4) and stayed there for the night. still 200 pesos, frindly caretaker.

Office was open until 6pm, we paid 100 pesos for two in an RV.
Quite and save! Services unknown because we came in late and started early.

Beautyfull! There is a sign at the fence: 50 MEX per night but there is no box for paying and nobody showed up,
maybe in Summer?! Be prepaired: great sunset and noisy waves...

This Walmart is not direct on a mainstreet. So it is not so noisy at night and there are a darker areas on the parking lot too. We stayed one night without any problems.

great place! space for more but there are just 3 fire rings. quite and great view, just around 15 km to Idyllwild.

Place next to an Watertank, right between the yoshua trees. great view down to the valley.
