March 13th, 2019 | Agua Azul | Nice spot right on the water. 50p to entre the park and a man came up later charging 50p for camping. No facilities, just a nice grassy spot with a chair and fire pit. Good spot to stay if you want to get up early to explore the falls without crowds. |

March 11th, 2019 | Yaax'Che | Closest camp spot to the Calakmul site. The pin in wrong- actual camping spot is several kms after the turnoff from hwy 186 on the road to Calakmul. The road in is rough.

March 9th, 2019 | Yaxche ecocamping | A great camping spot right on lake Bacalar. $150pp for your own tent. Wifi, awesome hot showers, clean toilets, electricity to charge phones ect. There were swings over the lake and hammocks to relax on during the day and night. It was a really nice spot that got busy during the day and was quiet by night.

March 4th, 2019 | Camping Playa Roca | What a great little spot hustled between expensive hotels for 100p. Camping is right on the beach under the shade of trees. Very clean and basic, with cold showers, Bucket flushing toilets, fire cooking and no wifi or electricity! We loved it here!! Max was very friendly and helpful greeting you with a smile. Recommend camping here. |

February 28th, 2019 | Santa Cruz: Turismo aventura | What a great cenote. Very different to other cenotes and not very busy. There was a small hole in the ground with a ladder leading into a big cave with a small clear swimming area. Worth the visit. There is also a lovely pool you can swim in and sit in the sun for a bit! |

February 26th, 2019 | Playa San Lorenzo | Tried to charge 150p pp. we paid the 50p pp to have a look at the camp spot! It is in a small housing area on the beach- tent spots are not even and there was rubbish everywhere- it was also quite smelly! No facilities. We decided not to camp and stay at a nice hostel in town for the same price! |

February 26th, 2019 | Camping Michol | We arrived late and needed somewhere for the night. Perfect spot for 40p. As comments say below- don’t expect to much, but it was a good spot to stay if just passing through to see the ruins!

February 25th, 2019 | Escudo Jaguar | Camping area was a grassy spot between cabins for 115p pp. It had just been raining so the ground was very muddy. We decided to sleep in a cabin with three for only a little bit extra. Comfortable beds, mosquito and bug proof room, shared hot shower (a little dirty and run down). Ruins were incredible- we paid 850p for three people for the boat trip. Some boats tried to charge us 1400p. Well worth the trip. Had 2 1/2 hours at the ruins and saw a toucan and lots of howler monkey’s! |
