Absolutely lovely place, fire pits, deer, lush green all over and super convenient location. we went to the dirt road but could not find a spot that was level so we actually went back to the “main road” and found a couple pull outs with fire rings there.

Stayed two night around this area. The road was too rough for us to go down with a Promaster 2WD but there might be another entrance. Anyway once you’re at the bridge there are 4 different areas you can park at for the full night

By the river in Medora, far enough from the road and a little bit before any of the private lands. We pulled up on the grass and slept like babies !

Cool little place not too far from the road. Not the most scenic but does the job for a nice sunset and quiet night

Nice and quiet at night. Just a train passing by and some traffic but really didn’t bother us. Clean and tons of space. More or less level :)

Road is closed 6/2020 i don’t know if it’s because of covid or closed for ever. Lots of no camping signs

Clean and quiet Walmart. We had a great night between a hike in Blue Lakes and our visit of Gunnison !

Great spot for a wonderful hike! Gets very busy though so come in the middle of the day before your hike! We parked .3 miles away from the trailhead which was very manageable :) quiet and dark spot at night.

At the Bridal Veil trailhead, people are camping up there so sometimes there a cars that stay overnight.
Free. Pit toilets. We stayed with 4 other vans that night and it was super quiet and dark. Just the sound of the waterfalls. Prime spot. No signs anywhere that indicates you can’t stay overnight!

Nice Walmart we had a good night. Very quiet.

Very very nice views. Not all spots are level and it gets busy.. but we made it work! Got a mouse in our van from that place ! But it’s gone and all good now :) just be careful.

Greta spot, very tranquil and quiet. We boiled the water of the creek to make some rice and it worked out perfect. Road is a bit rocky but we were able to make it to the first main area with our 2WD Promaster. Clean, no trash when we were there.

Great location, very quiet ! Lots of cows but they are not that loud at night. We loved it!

On the side of the road, this is a small camping and picnic area. Used by locals during the day but campers by night. There’s a little water stream. We stayed there with a couple trailers and a couple tents. Despite being so close to the road it was super quiet. Very safe and crazy beautiful sky with stars at night. Couple fire rings and tables. Put toilet and bear trashes.

So so beautiful, so quiet and what a wonderful and safe spot to stay at in the middle of the forest. We really loved it!

Good place for one night! Stayed with our van and our pup. It’s a little noisy and no WiFi during covid but that was to be expected. Bathrooms are insanely clean!!!

Such a wonderful camping spot. Safe, peaceful, windy. We just loved it ! Spots are even for campervans as well.

Good Walmart! We had a very decent night. Quiet, with another big RV and lots of truckers. Felt very safe !

This is a great little spot with pit toilet and more than enough space to take your dog for a lap and have a picnic on the tables. Looks like a fishing spot for locals. Safe and quiet
