December 8th, 2020 Bulldog canyon OHV parking

Rocky road with a few spots less than 1/2 mile in, difficult for anything larger than van. Only 2-3 spots for ClassA or C. Wild Salt Lake horses come they daily as well as coyotes. beautiful sunrises and sunsets. LOTS of ATV's and dirt bikes all hours of day and night stirring up dust with little to no regard to land or campers. Gate is locked with code easily accessed thru tonto national forest website for bulldog canyon. 6$ for 6 months!
Gate must stay closed to protect
horses. Hidden gem 1/2 mile north off Bush Hwy is Pebble Beach to watch wild horses and fish!

September 29th, 2020 Wild Camping just after Mt Carmelo

Wonderful boondocking, plenty of places near creek. 40ft RV's, tents, vans anything goes. There is sugar sand in some spots so be aware of getting stuck even in 4x4. Free range BLM so don't drink from creek, watched a large bull dump in it....ugh. Great rocks and tunnels to explore, sound of creek great to sleep by. I have 30ft class A and did just fine after I dropped the jeep. Elevation 5,150 end of Sept., 42 degrees last night highs mid 80's. Perfect and right next to Zion. Both Shell and other gas station have dump station and water free if you get gas.

September 23rd, 2020 Strawberry Ridge=Duck Creek Village

Easy access road, dirt/gravel DUSTY when no recent rains. Total fire ban so no grilling or camp fires. Great place to camp large RV or tent. I would recommend dropping tow vehicle, if you have one to scout spots. The farther you go up the road, PAST the private homes (goes from nat'l forest to private back to natl forest) there are some AMAZING sites! I have a 30ft Class A with jeep and found a site close to main road (Hwy 14) big enough for 4 rigs! A few ATV'S esp. on weekends fly by, so get off the dirt road to avoid dust. Max stay 14 days. Duck Creek Village is very close by, true value hardware store staff is WONDERFUL. Trash disposal, water for jugs (water tank refill at cedar rv park-2miles away for 5$), supplies and they will allow you to receive pkgs UPS or FedEx. ATV rentals, snow machine rentals, gas station, everything in a small village. Highly recommend this area-tons of other BLM camping also. Saw free range sheep, marmot, chipmunks, deer and many birds. Great Tmobile and Verizon signals with good download/streaming. Idk about ATT but was told it is great also.

September 4th, 2020 Shower - Rec Center

AMAZING LONG HOT SHOWERS! Unlimited water, very clean facility, staff super nice and helpful and it was only $3.00!! Didn't want to leave.....

September 2nd, 2020 Mesa verde Nationalpark (outside In BLM)

Road very dry and rugged (trenches) from previous rains/mudboggin', wouldn't advice any RV over 24 feet. I got my class A 28ft in but the amount of feces, urine bottles and trash in many of the sites kind of ruins the views of the Mesa. LEAVE NO TRACE PEOPLE!
