This is a pretty neat archaeological site with plenty of RV parking. We called the front desk and were granted permission to stay one night. There was plenty of space to park in the RV overflow parking.

Nice quiet spot. The view spot isn't level but just up hill a little there is a nice flat spot where we spent the night. Very quiet.

Two options here, slightly less than level with an amazing view, or a flat field 25m from the view.

Still open and as described, nice dump station.

The afd across the street just 100m east also does propane, but was currently closed

Multiple dispersed camp sites along the road and a few right next to the creek. Motocamped here for 2 nights, easily accessible by AWD or 4x4 vehicle. No cell service with AT&T. Road is just inside Arapahoe National forest boundary.

There is hostel also. We stayed in tent- 5 euros per tent! Hot shower in main building up from stairs on top of hill. On one evening there was even sauna at showers. Level ground and beautiful lake. For 6.50 breakfast buffet.

Closed for COVID-19. We were a bit surprised by this since most of Texas seems to be open (restaurants are allowing dine-in service, gyms are open, and most people have stopped wearing masks). This place looks really beautiful. Hopefully it will be open again soon. If you arrive and it is open, please comment.

As described already. Very little traffic so road noise was acceptable having an evening fire.

Plenty of room for a bunch of small rigs. 2-3 big ones. Not much else to say. A slight leaning but you should be able to level your car or tent. Lots of dead wood laying around. There is a tiny stream to the SV. Might not have any moving water if it’s been dry for a long time.

Cellphone 1 bar of four. 3G, barely working.

Nice camp campground showers big spaces kind of free for set up for tent campers but we had no problem getting a beautiful spot right on the creek. There is a large country store with a restaurant within walking distance. Ten buck per person per night. Water flushable toilets and showers

Very nice rec site on the side of the lake. Lots of place in an open field. Also a few spots a bit lower and closer to the lake and a very nice spot just on the side of the lake on the right of a boat launch. Pit toilet available. Beautiful sunset and we caught a few white fish and a rainbow trout near the boat launch. I would also recomend to stop at the Tsilcoh falls rec site a few minutes before Tezzeron lake. Quiet spot near falls.

This area is off limits to overnight camping as per the State Park Police Officer and must be removed from this listing immediately. Overnight camping is not permitted in LBJ State Park and Historic Site. This is a day use only site.

Nice place to stay near Akmena river where you enjoy listening to bird songs.

Had good cell service, level ground, and the sound of the creek nearby. Closest toilet that we saw was the one at the gas station when you first turn off the highway (10 min away?). just keep driving past state park till you see the signs stating you're on BLM land, several spots along road shortly after. Didn't see much space for tents, but we didn't have to drive too long before we could park.

Huge supermarket with cheap prices. Like Metro market. Creditcards accepted.

We stayed on covid-19 special 150 NAD pppn with park fees included. We chose to stay at campsite 3 which wouldn't be private if other people stayed in no 2 or 4. There is plenty of other private spots to choose from otherwise. Rockpool was fairly empty and green so we didn't use it. At night we had some strong winds so had to secure the camp. Toilets surprisingly decent. Very nice fire pits. We used our own shower as it ia very far to get to showers at the rest camp.
We had a take away food from the restaurant and it was decent.

Stayed here for two nights. There are a half dozen sites around Sooner Rocks, and the best two are the one we stayed in (located north of the wash on the right heading south, with some shade and wind protection from some big sandstone rocks) and right at the wash in some tamaracks. This area can be very windy so some wind breaks are valuable. Climbing back onto the Sooner Rocks offers great views of the Straight Cliffs, as well as the slickrock around the Escalante River. No Verizon service.

The site we stayed in had a bit of a dip preventing a Honda CR-V from driving all the way, but anything higher off the ground would be ok. The Hole-in-the-Rock Road at this point requires medium clearance and good tires, but is passable for small SUVs/crossovers. Overall this area is pretty hot by May but there is all-day shade at this site. Great place to stay if doing a loop hike of Fortymile/Willow Gulch.

Nice clean local restaurant and bar. Great milky tea and katogo with meat or veggies, rice and stews, daily dishes to choose from from 5000-9000sh. Favorite with locals.

Widest selection of the supermarkets in this street/area. Go for the basics to one of the others across the street which is much cheaper for many products and get your luxury (and expensive) items here. Fresh produce is best at the main market.

Isolated spot, beautiful view of the salt flats. Somewhat protected from the wind.

A hike up to the mountains starts right there.

Good ATT cellular signal.

This is a nice spot off a Forest road. It's surrounded by trees. There is a fire pit to use. It would probably fit a large camper trailer.

Beautiful view! Accessed at night which was terrifying for the slanted road however made it through with a Toyota 4 runner. Woke up to a lovely sunrise with great views. Perfect for the night. No snakes or wildlife sighted.

Just in front of Fiat Jeep auto shop, big rig friendly parking. We went to the city center the whole afternoon, safe street, some cameras, the shop in front... don’t forget to pay the parking though!

Visited today. The listing for potable and running water is incorrect. Water is not available unless you “sneak” it from a nearby source, such as a business’s spigot, which is not recommended and could give travelers a bad name. Also, while, parking is permitted, camping in the car overnight is not permitted.
