A big gravel parking lot next to Baskin Robbins. Got in around 11pm parked and woke up around 6am. Heard a couple of walkers in the night. There are bathrooms across the street at Bothell Landing.

Beautiful spot! Lots of space for tents, cars, RVs. There were maybe 4 groups who stayed overnight while we were there. Great swimming, but the water is quite a bit lower from where you park, if you need water for cooking etc make sure to get it before it gets dark as the climb is a bit steep. Porta potty is cleaned weekly but was fine when we were there. Beautiful sunset. Train goes by a few times a night, not too loud though.

Amazing spot right on a cliff, overlooking Lake Superior. Access to water at some points. Sit on the rocks & watch the sunset!
We swam & the water was beautiful but just be cautious as the rocks underneath can be slightly sharp to walk on.
A good few spots to choose from for tent / vehicle camping. We also had a fire pit.
There is a road with a dead end after the camp spots that can be awkward to reverse out of - just be wary!

Great place with everything you need! The showers are great, strong pressure and hot! The owners are lovely and run a good restaurant which is also popular by the locals. We had the best grilled trout ever! You have to taste. They come right from the pod behind the house.Wifi wasn’t very fast but ok.

Super endroit pour se promener la journée ou dormir la nuit. Le village est vraiment beau et mignon, on peut faire de belles balades au bord du fleuve, la place est très propre et olein de charme avec le vieux presbytère. Nous avons été au marché juste à côté le samedi matin. les toilettes sont propres. Je recommande complètement!

As described. No frills gravel parking lot at a church. Safe and relatively quiet.

Very quiet place and a good wild camping spot. You can make a little fire and swim in the lake/river. Probably there are some local fisher’s. We did not hear the noise of the road btw

Gates in front of field now, sign stating horseback, foot, or bicycle access only. Saw some tents in the field but you cannot drive a rig in the field. Could not stay in our van.

Nice large site right on a creek with its own waterfall. Has a large fire pit and room for several campervans

Costco parking lot, free parking for members. Permission given by manager on duty. Park away from store , do not park in back. Quiet night

Great little rec site, nice lake. The road is definitely bumpy once you get closer to the lake, no problem with a Sprinter 4x4.

Nice place in the center. But when we will sleft the day after there was a new quard and was friendly to. When we left he suddenly wrersaasked 20tl instead of 10. It became a big problem. I double checked the evening before if the price was the same for sleeping. This was the same..

Lovely Beach , quiet, room for a couple of vehicles. Beautiful sunrise!

Nice little park with outdoor shower and washroom. Could maybe get away with an overnight stay if respectful.

Red mountain campground is located 3 miles down a not so bad dirt Road. (No 4wd needed) from the entrance to Cal Mountain BLM recreation area. See on map

Approximately 10 campsites with parking spots picnic tables fire pits pit toilet and Porta potty’s.
Nice view of clear Lake and Lake Mendocino from the top of the mountain. Lots of burn pine trees also lots of firewood. Ranger said you could have fire in the fire pits. We spent one night here very cold and quiet at night very hot and loud in the morning with people dirt biking as this is a popular OHV area

We did not park inside the Safeway parking lot.
We parked on the street next to Safeway. There were many other camper, RVs and vans on the streets surrounding Safeway. There were a few camper parked in the Safeway parking lot, but at 10:00pm the security guard walked around and kicked them out. Those cars literally just moved to the surrounding streets.
No one bothered us parked in the streets but it was very noise late and very early.

As described - free camping all along the beach even! Bathrooms, little cell signal. Would stay again!

Parking spots are not clearly marked, but there is room for 10-15 vehicles, included oversized campers.

Beautiful spot right next to the Reservoir. Fire pit and old picnic table. Kinda bumpy road on the way in but no need for 4WD

Pretty good spot just off a little used forest service road. Spot here has some good tent spots and with rocks we could level our camper. Only space for one or two. Lots of sun, high tension wires, easy walk to the creek. Another large spot just up the road but it gets steep and narrow so didn’t think it was worth it to continue farther.

Many great spots near the water around behind the substation. The dirt road has potholes and puddles but is fine for cars and 2wd. Strong LTE and very close to town.

We had previously stayed here with a small van and had no issues by parking well back. Last night a large C class parked in such a fashion at the water that it blocked the scenic view that would otherwise be enjoyed by local residents and visitors. The police requested us both to leave based on a complaint.

Camp next to beautiful, pristine Crows Creek, cedar trees, level parking, quiet, secluded informal camping. There are picnic tables, fire rings (Aug fire ban), vault toilets. We stayed here a few nights & enjoyed the river. Unpaved road, no cell signal.

We didn’t have any other choice as the nearby trailheads posted here were closed and it was getting late! We managed to bag the last spot which was full hook-up! That cost $34 for us because we are non Oregon residents! 1 bar of Verizon signal!
