We arrived late at night, and were not allowed to park on the parkinglot, but the guard was nice and showed us a spot right behind the Subway building. Felt safe. Woke up with tue sound of three biiiig parrots!:) You can use the wifi from Tacobell, password: t@c0bell.

Oh, i forgot: if you order something at Subway, double check your receipt/change. They secretly charged us more than we ordered..

nice and clean, its hard to find a self service washing and this one is good! 30min for washing, 30 or 1h for drying. only 5 washers and 2 dryers. from monday to saturday 10h to 20h. nice wifi also!

It's okay to overnight park here, we called in and asked. Just make sure to park in the back parking lot, where the semi trucks are, not the front, and not right by the doors. There were a few other campers here also.

Camping is free when you eat in the restaurant. Food was ok and not to expensive. A bit loud at night and close to the road.

Nice little place where you can go down to the river and fish rainbow trout from three artificial but lovely pools. 5000 pesos per kilo. The river looks enchanted here :-)

It is right after the second RV parking lot, before Beach Break. José Juan runs the place and he is a great person. He is trying to make it into an eco friendly camping ground. As of now he has a hose for showers, and basic electricity, he might be out during the day, but he is back every night. We helped him clean and collect trash from the area, if you can, give him a little assistance. We didn’t have to pay, but as he develops the campground you might have to pay a small fee. It is a beach front location and far enough from the restaurants to be quiet, but within walking distance. Good Telcel LTE

A clean hotel with secure parking. It will not fit big rigs, but it is wide, has a bar across the top.
60 for a double with a private bathroom. It is clean and nice. WiFi in the furthest room, dog friendly, has a restaurant. Big screen tv.

You have to take a room, the room are clean with fan and hot shower. Friendly owner, calm place, we can recommend

Outside season, no water in huge swimming pools. Quiet place, hot showers. Electricity, BBQ & water at site. Wifi. 100 pesos only for a camping spot, all included. Not best maintenance in banos and only curtains at ladies showers, however still value for this little money. Probably busy in high season.

Luis and Gaby are such great people! We arrived at the Para Van campsite but couldn't get in because no on was there, they offered to let us camp in their garden. We could use their swimming pool, Wifi and they gave us access to their bathroom where we could have a hot shower. There is a small kitchen area with a microwave and fridge/freezer but we ended up eating dinner with them. Don, their Canadian tenant even did our laundry for us. And we didn't pay anything! They have a lot of experience travelling the Americas in a van and motorbike and they just want to help fellow travellers. They are happy to have more overlanders come (as long as you can fit through their gate)and they are full of information on places to see and how to get around. They are on facebook under 'Aventuri Ticos.,

Drive to the very end of Trans Pacific Ln. There you‘ll find a narrow sand road that is only accessible by 4x4s. It‘ll take you to the beach that faces the inlet, but not the ocean. Still lots of good spots to park your vehicle next to the dunes. Very quiet, occasionally people driving by on their ATVs.

Best pression we got in a long time. For free, easy, bring your own hose. Fill up for the week before heading to Police car park !!

Endroit calme et sécurisé. Des randonnées sont disponibles, 1 gratuite assez sympa avec beaucoup de ponts suspendus et 1 payante (passage d’arbre en arbre avec baudrier).
Nous n’avons pas vu d’animaux ce jour là à part le pauvre Ara rouge enfermé à vie dans sa cage ridicule et vide, une honte pour un parc naturel....
Correct pour une nuit.

40Q par personne pour une nuit en véhicule + 25Q pour l’électricité par jour. Douche, toilette et eau à votre disposition sur le spot de camping, c’est très pratique. Super jardin arboré et luxuriant, de l’ombre, des animaux sauvages, un lac pour se rafraîchir.
Un restaurant avec rapport qualité prix correct, toute sortes de boissons, des petits déjeuners, du vin etc...
Wifi disponible uniquement dans la zone du restaurant. Table de pingpong, bibliothèque, jeux pour enfants extérieurs. L’équipe est super sympa, vous pouvez payer en CB. Quelques voyageurs en véhicules ou en sac-à-dos qui dorment dans les cabanes. Certains y font même du volontariat plusieurs jours. Les chiens sont les bienvenus et sans supplément de prix.
Très bon endroit pour faire un break pendant votre road trip !

Location was a bit off, it’s at the North corner of the plaza.

Short drive off Hwy 50 on Forest Rd. Somewhat steep grade in places, but don’t need 4wd. Nice flat area near old mine activity out of sight and sound of highway.

Lots of rocks and boulders. Slow going getting in. We stayed maybe 2 miles from the main road. Beautiful sunset and scenery.

Near the toilet and parking we sleep here one night very quiete place, toilet open all the night

Qiuet place. Wooden cabins, one of which you can use for toilet and showering. Big rigs would have to stay in front of the house, maybe a bit farther from ablutions.

Nice camping, clean toilets, quite during week days. A few dogs around like normal!! 300$ 2persons, car and tent.
And WiFi!!!

The only place we could find where we could take our dog inside the room as it was raining really bad and we didn’t want to sleep in our tent. Place was clean, wifi was sometimes good, sometimes really bad. People were friendly

Definitely passable in a normal car. This short section is streep with a few holes in the road. A skilled driver can manage, especially west-east. Might be difficult when wet.
