Cute campground on creek. Pads, fire pits but can’t remember if there is electricity.

Old polish camp side with little old bungalows. Shower and WC are very clean. People are friendly. 50 Zł for one night/car and tent.

Nice place. Quiet at night. Washrooms closed during the night.

What a paradise up here on the hill! Laurence and Jacqueline ard extremely friendly and generous people. Let us stay on their grassy land, we could use the comfortable poolhouse to cook and eat, there is electricity, water and a bathroom. For us a wonderfull experience, especially in these rainy days.

Beautiful quiet grassy place who does not feel like a parking lot. We spend three relaxing days and did a dive trip to Cayo Cochino with Pirate Island Divers. Helen is a lovely señora and keeps this place well maintained.

Nobody there on Saturday evening. I don’t know about the opening hours but probably the ferretería is Open during the week and the café in the since they offer breakfast.

Staff said it is safe here. At the moment they dont sell fuel but the toilets were open.

Oh well... what a place... the thinnest glass I've ever seen on the windows, no locks on the rooms, I'm still not convinced that my car is secure, really thin curtains that let everyone see what's going on in the room, and there is a panel dividing my room with the one beside us, please note that the panel leaves 5cm gap in between the panel and the frame... showers 10, room 30, parking at the back 10

Nice location next to the camp with a small ice cream store and a mini supermarket / restaurant. Dog friendly beach next to this spot. Just the big rig next to us who had to run their generator the whole night was noisy but in the middle of the nature

A great stop half-way between Tegucigalpa and La Ceiba. Nice guy. We slept in our truck in the large, secure car park and he gave us a room key to use the shower. The room was clean and nicely fitted with TV and fans (no a/c required up here as it's a cool climate). Modern bathroom and the shower was the best we've had in a long time - very powerful and hot. Taking a room would have been L370, we paid L300, but we could probably have negotiated harder to get a better price. Plenty of room for big-rigs inside, cable across the gate around 3.5m high.

This is a very beautiful drive and the shortest distance route between Tegucigalpa and La Ceiba, HOWEVER it's a very slow road. Between Limones on the Ruta 15 in the south and Bocaterna on the Ruta 23 in the north, it's 150km of dirt road. It's driveable by any vehicle (even in the rainy season) and it's not a narrow, hair-raising route, but it's very slow-going due to rutts and corrugations. This 150 km section took us around 5 hrs. We thought it was worth for the views and we stayed in La Union half-way to break the drive.

The road between Bayandalai and Noyon is very lovely. It cross different landscapes: dry rivers between little hills, sundy flat areas, sundy road between green stones hills and, in this point you will drive between red stones hill and black stones hills... Just before Noyon the red, green and others colors are combined in a little hills area.
Important: 4x4 sure needed in a very sundy dry river (43.192698, 102.464132), look the warming point in ioverlander. The other sundy sections in the way are more easy, we cross all them with our 2wd Iveco Daily.

a nice one of the typical Iranian local parks where they Picknick and camp. this one has lots of trees and if you are lucky even small water streams running through them when they water the trees.

They probably know a lot about Volkswagen Beatles. Clumsy pancakes..

Forget about the paved roads. This is one of the most beautiful (swimming) spots in the world. Way more beautiful and less crowded then semuc-champey. A must go.

We got some car trouble here a slept for a few days at the parkingspot. The locals here are friendly and curious in a fun way.

There are two larger areas connected by the old road, each can take 5-7 vehicles. The old road winds further down after the second large area, thus there is space for a total of 10-15 vehicles. Nice views from the edge of the second area. Wide trucks can enter the first area but probably not the other ones because of big boulders. We were here on a Saturday evening, and there were around 10 vehicles in total. I can recommend this place to stay one night.

Perfect place just outside of the park. No 4WD required to access this spot.

From this place you can walk up into the forest where there are different trails. You can see a lot of birds and plants. At the entrance you pay 6 dollars per person and get a map.

It’s a shop with delicious tastings, some farm animals outside and table/benches. Indeed they offer free overnight parking upon purchase BUT only for fully self contained RVs (no toilets for 12h during nighttime).

Reminds us a bit of a RV Park, different size camper vans parked next to each other, but it is free! Official rest area and no „no overnight parking“ sign. Restroom with running water open all night, picknick tables/benches, mobile reception and nice bay view.

Nice place to get to after a long week down Rio Napo. Friendly staff, free breakfast and moto parking in lobby. Only downside is wifi so slow it's almost unusable.

Halte routière qui fait office de petit camping municipal. Le don suggéré est maintenant de 15$.
Il est préférable d'arriver tôt la fin de semaine pour avoir une place. Nous sommes arrivés à 18h un samedi et c'était complet. Nous nous sommes rabattus sur le parking du resto qui est à l'entrée de la halte et n'avons eu aucun problème. Nous avons aussi eu accès aux toilettes (un don est bienvenu).

at Santander Rosa on top of the hill. restaurant for lunch and bbq dinner. clean cosy. no toilet seat 15 dollars for matrimonial. friendly cheerful. we used their tumble dryer to dry sopping wet clothes. locked motorbike in their garage.
