Great place to stay if your planning to hike. A little on the expensive side, 45000 cop per person. Not bad if you have the cabin to yourself though. We brought our own food so didn’t have to buy at the restaurant.

One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed.
$40 for 2 persons room.
Breakfast was included, but the cook was absent so they told us “too bad, you’ll have to eat somewhere else” , no discount because of that.

Wonderful place on the water with full service. The beach is beautiful and no seaweeds.

Best place on the strip. BIG rig friendly, lots of parking with or without shade. Beach is beautiful but little rough for swimming, usually a good breeze. Bar/restaurant (didn’t eat here but others said it was good). Ten minute walk down the beach towards the river if you want fresh fish-boats come in about 7am.
We preferred the bathhouse away from the cabinas it’s an open shower but fine in the nude with a watch buddy because nobody seems to use them, toilets were cleaner also.
You can buy potable water from Jorge the owner at cost, 6,000cop just return the bottle.
Plenty of power outlets if needed, WiFi is a bit sketchy, works best before 7am or late night but still not strong enough for downloading.
They have Full Moon party every 28 days which is Fun Fun! BUT the music does play until 6am...other than the monthly music night is very peaceful and quiet with a mix of locals and Overlanders.
All in all great spot, professionally run, friendly and clean. We recommend !!!

Nice place. Happy for me to take bicycle into room. 20k for single room. Shower has heating element at the shower head so pressure isn't great. No heating or fan in the room so doubt any of my soaking kit will dry overnight!

The place isn't in a Hostel, is a quite street (saphi) next to the parking of turistic buses. the place isn't beatifull but is four blocks for the historic centre and near the police, is also free and you fell very safe.

There are two turns in close proximity. We took the first turn driving north. Nice open flat spot right by the lake.

Wild camping at the lake near the border to Russia. Road is ok and you can find quiet places. Some locals passing by. A loooooooot of mosquitoes and these big flies...

This place is a no frills hotel. All a bit basic but the price is good, the rooms are clean, with aircon and the wifi is good. Right next to the Green Bazaar and walking distance to good bars and eating places.

Nice camping near lake Jablanica in Bosnia. The owner is very polite and helpful and cooks great. I really recommend eating fish which is his speciality. The fish comes from the lake. The price for a room is 30€ and for a bungalow 25€.

Many Rv's and campers, simple night stop in the rest area with 24h bathrooms and well lit.

Cuckoo Ridge is a lovely B&B just outside Hazyview on the R536 Sabie road. Ideal place to stay for a night or longer before heading into the famous Kruger National park, or before heading home from your Kruger or Mozambique holiday.

Pub with on site camping/caravan/overland space out the back. Hot showers and clean toilets. Buy a meal and camping is free! Very lovely owners

Grassy field between the road and the river. The field is on a plateau above the river. There are some trees. The spot is a little bit in sight of the road and the village across the street but there were only some cows who came by. Dust free and a beautiful view. Little bit of Megafon reception (E) and perfect for tents as well. There is a small track at the beginning of the field (if coming from Dushanbe) from the main road which leads to several spots. No direct water/river acces.

I didn’t see the other other spot down the road as I didn’t check the map however the place where I am now is perfect if you are going to pitch your tent. It’s away from the road and there are little canyons so you are really hidden 360 degrees. It’s quiet and wonderful sunset.

Bicycle pay 30rands. Very easy crossing.

Yes! We loved this place!
We parked in a leveled parking area in a beautiful garden with loads of birdsounds to wake up to after a peaceful and quiet night.
We payed $8 p.p. and could use the hot showers, very clean bathrooms, games room (pooltable & pingpong), tv/lounge area, bbq-area and beautiful pool & Jacuzzi. Felt like camping in a resort.
15 min walk to town.
We ran out of gas while being on the campsite and were allowed to use one of their gasbottles for the time being. Very friendly!

Wonderfull Place. From Town to the Dunes ist about 8km and from Entrance 5km. We rented a Bike for PLN 10 per hour/Bike

Petite place tranquille et sécurisé par un poste de police . Nous sommes restés deux nuits ici . Avons laissé le camping car garé toute la journée , pas de soucis pour nous, c est un quartier calme. Le centre historique est à 5 minutes à pieds . la wifi gratis.
Nous avons plus que sympathisé avec Christian , un guide de hautes montagnes qui habite à 100 mètres . Il peut vous emmener faire des trejs de plusieurs jours dans la cordillère des Andes autour de 4000 m . Il est originaire d'un village reculé et peut vous emmener dans des communautés indigènes où il retourne travailler lors des périodes creuses . Sa famille et lui sont d'une gentillesse incroyable.

Small tranquil and secure place by a police station. We stayed two nights here. Let the camper because parked all day, no concerns for us, c is a quiet area. The historic center is 5 minutes walk. WiFi gratis. We have more than sympathized with Christian, a high mountain guide that lives in 100 meters. He can take you to make some trends in thé Andes River around 4000 m. It is from a declined village and can take you into indigenous communities where he returns to work during the hollow periods. His family and are an incredible kindness. Police Check point. Looked at TIP, passports, fire extinguisher, emergency triangle, first aide kit (looked at bandages and gauze...not sure what constitutes the requisite minimum).
12 minute stop, professional and polite police. Nobody asked for money.
