Wonderfull Place. From Town to the Dunes ist about 8km and from Entrance 5km. We rented a Bike for PLN 10 per hour/Bike

Petite place tranquille et sécurisé par un poste de police . Nous sommes restés deux nuits ici . Avons laissé le camping car garé toute la journée , pas de soucis pour nous, c est un quartier calme. Le centre historique est à 5 minutes à pieds . la wifi gratis.
Nous avons plus que sympathisé avec Christian , un guide de hautes montagnes qui habite à 100 mètres . Il peut vous emmener faire des trejs de plusieurs jours dans la cordillère des Andes autour de 4000 m . Il est originaire d'un village reculé et peut vous emmener dans des communautés indigènes où il retourne travailler lors des périodes creuses . Sa famille et lui sont d'une gentillesse incroyable.

Small tranquil and secure place by a police station. We stayed two nights here. Let the camper because parked all day, no concerns for us, c is a quiet area. The historic center is 5 minutes walk. WiFi gratis. We have more than sympathized with Christian, a high mountain guide that lives in 100 meters. He can take you to make some trends in thé Andes River around 4000 m. It is from a declined village and can take you into indigenous communities where he returns to work during the hollow periods. His family and are an incredible kindness. Police Check point. Looked at TIP, passports, fire extinguisher, emergency triangle, first aide kit (looked at bandages and gauze...not sure what constitutes the requisite minimum).
12 minute stop, professional and polite police. Nobody asked for money.

Spent one night here as it was getting dark. There are not many options on this highway. We felt safe as there were many truckers stay the night here and you are very close to the peaje. There is also a street light. If you are a light sleeper, you may not get too much sleep as the trucks are very loud all night. It’s definitely a one night type of spot.

They stopped us as there is a cone in the road and you cannot pass without speaking to the senasa. They asked if we had fruit, we said no, they said gracias and listo and moved the cone for us to pass. Just say you have no fruit. They didn’t ask to search.

Great hosts, super helpful with local travel suggestions. Accommodation is comfortable and meals great home style cooking. Child friendly with very comfortable lounge and fire area

Nice, quiet place to camp in the trees. We accessed it in a 2WD Sprinter van. 4G service is fast (Verizon). Good view of the mountains.

Lovely people, great place! They cooked us dinner even though the restaurant was closed that evening. Very very friendly and hospitable! The food is reasonable priced and was very good - I would totally recommend staying there for the night rather than in Guerrero Negro!

Super nice place, beautiful sunset, huge cacti - if you go in a little deeper it will be less and less rubish!

Basic camping ground based out of the non profit organisation of Kijoto community. Asiimwe Lucky, the director and founder of the Kitojo Vocational School works as a guide and has great knowledge of the area around the lake. The facilities are very basic and therefore you are only expected to make a small donation to the school at the end of your stay.Lake Bunyonyi can be the perfect place to unwind after your trek to the nearby gorillas. Spending some time in the school is defiantly recommended. Your support here is very much needed and Lucky and his team will make sure that you have a memorable stay.

Pans are stunning, roads to pans are very sandy, corrugated, bumpy but worth the effort.

Next to all bars restaurants and shopping area. Not sure what the blue zone here mean though.

Nice, relatively cheap hotel. The receptionist is fluent in English and the rooms are clean and have AC! It's located in a quiet area. The bathrooms are very small, you can't even open te door entirely. But other then that I would defenitely recommend it.

$5 includes clean hot shower, towel, and soap. Very nice facility.

Cheap restaurant with delicious greek food. You can have a whole meal with a drink for only 9 euro. The owners are very friendly.

Large spot next to a not so busy road. Close to the old nipissing road, good spot for lunch or an overnight stop.

Flat parking lot right up the hill in front of the cafe. Super nice family. Flat spot to park. Super clean toilets and shower (very cold shower !!) very quiet at night, beautiful sky. Right in front of the trail to go to Las Gachas. (About 15 minutes walk.) great to be the first in the morning. (Can get pretty busy in the week end.)

Just beside Morro da Baleia! Beautifull view! Bathroom, kitchen and wifi.

You got to stop by this well known pueblo for its history, artisanat but also 2 president de Bolivia are from Tarata. Today, you can walk along the charming paved narrow streets and sit in the beautiful plaza. Few sites to visit. Enjoy :)

Great little outdoor food truck style. Courtyard with cute low tables and banches . Nice ambiance. Lounge music. We had the burger combo with a beer and fries for 15000. Very very nice place and ambiance.

Garaffon costs 10 peso, on Monday only 8 peso.

As described not too busy okay for one night parking spot not camping spot. Nice birds signing when you wake up

We stopped in to inquire about a room, but at 230,000 cop per night we moved on.

Very nice hostel. Food is really good and local. We stayed here for free because we are the first foreigners. So not touristic at all. Very friendly and warm host and hostess. 200m from the lake

Have parked up just as you turn onto the dirt road at the end of Nicholas Bravo street. (Location shown in screenshot photo added.) We have parked here knowing that the trees will help to protect is from the rising sun in the AM. So far the spots seems safe and quiet enough.

Just off the main road to/from the border. Numerous spots next to a small stream of the Koera river. Take the road close to the police checkpoint.
Used by locals in the evening but quiet at night.
You can cross the water and stay on the island as well!

Everyone was on a break so got waved through no issue!
