très bel endroit. nous avions un camper et une tente et nous avons trouvé l'emplacement idéal. très calme, personne aux alentours. nous y sommes restés 3 nuits sans problème. plusieurs espaces possibles, le terrain est grand. par contre, nous n'avions pas de réseau cellulaire (a prévoir)

beautiful place ! Easy to come with a colectivo for 15Q. The place is close since 17 pm.

Currently there is paved from north to this spot. From this spot until the Mex1 are 34km of gravel road. Average speed 30km/h.

The currently price is MXN 150/night. We asked If is negotiable, the owner sayed yes but without shower. We don't stay. Only cold shower is MXN 30.

Great view when you camp in the bigger gravel area not the paved area.
Quiet night as we had the spot to ourselves. Don't get to close to the edge...pretty active erosion going on there.

Free Parking Spot to place your van/mobilehome. Possibility to use electricity or water against a fee (you throw in coins into a power/water supply). Pub/restaurant nearby and lots of little shops in the village. Quiet area.

As evidenced by all of these lovely reviews, this place is just awesome. That is all :)

paid 120L. nice place with toilets available until 10pm at the reception. easy to walk down to downtown. indeed it's a bit of a luck to get access to a shower but I guess you need to keep going asking. we had access to a hot shower. water available from a faucet outside.

We just arrived in the village, have asked local where we can park our 24ft RV and were gifted 2 watermelons and 4 kg of grapes. Then we met American guy Kevin who has a home there. He suggested parking our RV in his land nearby. Calm and safe.

Gas station 24 hours open, toilets, showers, mini market, food. Little parking lot for trucks (next the white shower building). Noisy next to the road.

Pointe de La Riviere du Loup. Pres du depart du traversier vers St Simeon et de la marina. Au bord de l'eau.

Gravel lot near busy railroad. Nice spot, with some views. Trains go through often, but othee than that a good overnight stop.

Great option in Chone, it’s not cheap but it’s pretty decent. ($25 per person)

Well... We decided to try the private pools. Nice, as it’s really private (walls and roof + pool + shower) and quite big, but the water was cold. I mean, not iced as in a river, but difficult to go inside - and really hard to stay.

The water from the shower warms really slow and never got really warmish...

Too bad !

But still, we could wash ourselves (and the dishes we brought 😈).

Outside in the sun, it worth it more : the water isn’t hot, even warm, but it’s like a normal swimming pool, and on a sunny day, the sun will do the “warm” part !

Our advice : take it not as thermals, but as a swimming pool, don’t take the “privado”, and it will be nice !

This place is closed, maybe not permanently, but at least for a long time : a landslide took a big part of the place, no leveled place accessible 😔
Too bad, we could guess the place was very nice when opened...

Nice Campground surounding by Mountains. Pit toilets, fire rings, water, shelter.

Nice sanitations, fast wifi but no very big lots - maybe difficult to find a lot for a big rig

We didn’t stay here because it was right next to the road and not far from the entrance to a lodge. We didn’t think it was appropriate at all. Would not recommend.

ND$130 pppn. 30km away from Anderson gate. Cheapest option we could find. Camp 6,5 and 8 are very private and nice. Camp 1,2,3,4 are in a more communal space around the toilets and showers. Camp 7 occupied by workers. Each spot has its own braai fire place and light and electrical PowerPoint. Amongst trees and bush. Restaurant and pool is beautiful with amazing views. Friendly staff. A bit disorganised. Overall a good option :)
