Nice spot along the river with fire pits, rubbish bins (on the main parking) and fishing spots.
At KM 641 of the AK Highway on the northeast side of the bridge go on the parking place and ride further into the woods for some nice spots.

THE backpack of Lusaka. the place where all travelers meet, sleep, share story and everything. Its cost, cheap and be sure to meet people from all over the world! Definitely what I was looking for.

Very rocky campsite next to an abandoned mine and just below Clear Lake. Million dollar views, lots of space and the sounds of running water. Best dispersed camping we’ve done so far! Ground is pretty rocky so tent campers may not enjoy it as much. Trailers or RTTs are your best bet!

Walmart car park. Heaps of other rvs and campers there. Quiet. Stayed for one night

Small flat parking lot. Smells when the tide is out. Otherwise awesome view and quiet at night. There was a porta potty on site. Cool spot right on the water and easy to get to.

Lovely camping grounds spread out along the water bed. Lots of trees so shady sites available.

Great place to stop for a night or two. Acclimatise for altitude. Ready for the Khunjerab pass. I didn't camp by the lake but found a great place hidden from eyes. Only not a 5 star place because it's access is rough, steep and 45kms from the KKH. Worth the drive though.

Not signage and nothing that looked like a lodge or camping.

Very clean ablutions, nice little pool, shops to buy food and drinks ( and beer ). Campspace a little bit small for my Landcruiser. 14 Dollar pppn

Amazing campsite! Tranquil and quiet, with an absolute gorgeous hide next to a man-made waterhole. Small kiosk and information center telling you a bit more about the campsite’s macabre history. Sadly there were not a lot of action at the waterhole during our stay. Neat ablutions with solar heated hot water (shower early in the late afternoon) with dishwashing and handwash laundry facilities

Great hosts, very helpful with local knowledge. Accommodation dated but comfortable. Hot water, flushing loos, swimming pool and great outdoor entertainment areas. Wonderful home cooked meals. Assist with travel advice on pans and current conditions available.

Grassy parking area to park for vans/rvs/staying.

No tents, sleeping outside, cooking or campfires allowed.

Small cosy basic cabins.
Clean and tidy, we used to get out of 5 days of thunderstorms.
Friendly owner and daughter speaks good English.
Shower and room included in the price 1600 rubles.
Sauna extra 350 Rubles
Breakfast 250 Rubles each and free use of kitchen.
Without breakfast kitchen is extra 200 Rubles.

We used our own cooking equipment and cooked under the covered bbq area.

Nice and quiet

Unfortunately, our place is only suitable for smaller vehicles and motorcycles. Entrance gate 2.5 meters wide and 3 meters high.
We offer our guests 2.5 Hectar pure nature. 2 hectares with various fruit trees, own small waterfall, natural water pool, large fish pond with fresh fish, possibility for fishing, own restaurant, free shower in Dschugel forest, WC. Our place is right on the main road leading to Tarapoto. It is about 5 minutes drive to tarapoto. On our place you will find free-living monkeys, parrots and other animals.

It is an entrance gate made of iron directly on the main street

nice hotel with pool,sauna and restaurant. 2000 for a twin room, walled parking lot. 150 for breakfast.

A small and friendly hotel run by an ex motocross rider. At the ground floor he has a pub/restaurant and above a few rooms. The bathroom is huge and it has a washing machine also. A big dog guards the yard where you can park your vehicle. One night cost us (2 persons) 25€. Breakfast not included.
