CAMPING:
The caravan park has 350 caravan sites with beautiful green grass and many trees. Stays have not been marked out and allocated, so you have the freedom of choice where to camp. Each stand has a 220 volt / 30 amps electric power point and water points are located nearby. The modern and clean ablution facilities, and laundry areas make the visit a comfortable experience. There are 10 ablution facilities with showers, baths, toilets, paraplegic toilets, sinks and power points for razors and hair dryers and 4 washing areas available

Flat grassy area next to a big water channel. Very quiet. Nice view of the surrounding hills.

The ferry operates from 8 to 20 hr , so very quite in the night. Nice views along the water and plenty of space to park. Little beach for swimming as well.

Parking lot in front of the beach. No facilities. Cold shower. Very quiet but in low season. We feel very safe.

Border opens 0900 we arrived 0920 and at least 20 cars in front of us. We crossed out of the Russian side about 1400.

We stayed here 1 night. Parking lot is just nearby a big beautiful garden with trees, picnic tables, and a pond. No facilities except pit toilets. Quite a lot of mosquitoes when night time. Nobody bothered us and it's free. Road is passing by but it's quiet at night. There are various walking trails around in the reserve, where you can observe the fauna. Drinking water used to be available but at the time we were there the taps were broken. Dogs are allowed at the parking but not inside the park.

On arrival we asked for staying with a dog in one of the two double rooms. It turned out that the room where you can stay with dogs was booked already. But they offered us a flat in a building nearby for 1500r a night. It was a great deal for us. We could wash all our laundry and had a kitchen and a bathroom for us. The building is quite new, built in January 2018, the flat was clean and equipped with all stuff you need, but it misses a bit light and fresh air.

They said it's a minimum purchase of 50q now for access to showers. I'll stick to my (infrequent) sponge baths and cook my own food for that price...

Marathon Campgrounds in Bienville NF. 34site campground for $20 night includes RV hookup. Less for tent only. Flat, wooded, asphalt and hard gravel pads. Hardly anyone here on 4th July weekend. Campsite is on lake that is stocked.

It is a simple place next to the lake. There are little wooden tables, fireplaces and kind of pit toilets (but they are full). Bring a shovel. Some people before used to leave their garbage here, too sad.
The way to get there is nothing for a big camper. We were the only once. It is free of charge.

Got my carnet stamped here. There is no customs in Ndendé.

Did it in dry weather. It took me 10 hours from Ndendé to Dolisie. Including all border procedures. On the Congo side 50-60 km/h is possible most of the time.

Got my visa today. 3 month single entry visa that starts on the date I requested. Took a few hours. Needed 3 photocopies of passport. 3 photos. Photocopy of yellow fever and a hotel booking. Deal breaker was the flight or ferry ticket. I went and bought a ferry ticket as a foot passenger. Cost me 21 000 Naira at today's rate, worked out at $58. Visa cost 51 000 CFA plus 5000 CFA processing fee. I gave them a mixture of West and Central African CFA. Also needed to write a letter to the consul explaining what I was doing. The dude was nice and it was an easy process.

Old dirt road off a gravel road off route 385. Very quiet. Good for one night to stay near Mt Carleton Provincial Park

Stayed up on the grassy patch because there was so much water, still a nice place, had a quiet night

Perfect spot. Clean, safe and with fire pit, parrillas and electricity. Also bathrooms and hot showers. Loved it, recommend it.

the coordinates takes you to the entrance of the park but the camping is in the end. the gate was closed so we park outside but the ranger came to invite us to go in and explained the gate closes for the safe of the campsite.

came on winter so we where almoust alone. only one tent too.

Nice place for one night. There is toilets in the Park and free dump station nearby.

this border was easy, breezy, covergirl. seriously, we just showed our passports, answered three questions about our plans and were on our way.

Campsite along the river about 2.5 km walking from Trier center via a footpath next to the river. The campground is situated in an uninspiring neighbourhood and near major streets and a railway, which makes it rather noisy. The individual grass pitches are small. However, the ablutions are excellent, with kitchen, lockers for phone charging, washing machines, dryers and a sanitation dump station. Fresh bread can be ordered. Very small camping shop. The nearest shop is over 1.5 km away. The fee is € 20 (2 adults, camper). Showers and electricity are charged separately.
