Gorgeous, private spot on the crystal clear lake. Great for a swim. Under pines trees. Totally quiet. Many colorful mushrooms around! Easy to level the truck. 4x4 is not necessary to get here but may be difficult for big rigs to access on the forest track.

Nice place as described. But for Big Rigs it is a little bit small. Vans and small Trucks are fine to park. And you are really close to the other campers. Can be a problem... We only fit because nobody was beside us. And for IOverlander we are not a Big Rig because we have 22 not 23 ft ;-)

Very Nice little camping. We stay here two nights. All was perfect. Very nice view. Very quite. Staff very friendly. Two showers (one is hot). All is very clean.

Easy access spot to a great spot by the river. Lots of locals go here to swim but in the evening it empties out and is an awesome spot to stop for the night. Very nice, free spot. Town with groceries and restaurant just a few miles away

The best waterfalls and pools in Panama (free). You can easily climb from one pool to the next (5)!
The water is cool but not too cold. Come early or at noon to catch the sun...

Reliable workshop for good service, not expensive.

Super nice spot by the river, directly on a rock/sand beach with super view of the mountains. Narrow entry and high clearance recommended. Close to the road but no trafic. Swimming and fishing possible.

Classic rest area on highway. Very clean and calm.

Actualmente el refugio son 20 soles la noche. El dinero es para la comunidad de campesinos de la zona, asi como los 5 soles de entrada al parque. No hay agua caliente ni electricidad. Por la noche hay un par de horas de luz gracias a un panel solar.
Solo hay señal de telfono con la compañia Movistar y es muy debil. Hay sabanas y mantas pero es recomendable llevar su propio saco de dormir. Os dejo el telefono de Mario que trabaja en el refugio. La mejor hora para llamar es a las 7am y a las 16pm. 978 843 618

Merece la pena quedarse a dormir para poder disfrutar del lugar. Hay varias rutas de trekking muy bonitad. Se puede ir bordeando el lago hadta una segunda laguna, la laguna Artesoncocha o subir a una laguna congelada.

If you dont wanna pay the 8 dollars day use fee you can park before the entrance and walk in. The showers have a coin machine but also work without :-)

Clean modern copec great place to do laundry, have a hot shower and use the pretty decent wifi. One of the cleanest copec stations we have used.

nice sunny place in the te middle of the National Forrest. plenty of space. open for solar. T-Mobile LTE. super quiet. stayed here 4 nights with our 34ft motorhome.

Excelent place to lunch and dinner. You can to choose yours meals, then pay per kilo.
Its a very good option and cheap.

we camped on the grassy spot next to the bar. direkt at the sandy beach.
we ask, and its allowed to stay and camp here. (free)
(we dont understand why people are going to the owercrowded and expensive campsite close to here... there are so many spots direkt at the beach.)

at the bar you can have chairs, small snacks, beer and all you need. (chairs and umbrellas are for free if you order something)

Easy border crossing. Going to Ningeria: 28 days TIP no money asked.
After they stamp you your passport in Benin side you just cross the barrer.. 10m and:
1. 50meters left side yellow house immigration for stamp your passport (gave us 30days tourist visa made in Burkina)
2. Go back walking to the first shack on the left after the barrier and register the vehicle. Stamp your carnet or make free TIP 28days.
3. Cross the street “health service” to show the yellow fever certificate if the ask you to go..
4. With the car 300m stop at police on the left and they will just register you.
Not need to pay nothing all very friendly and guide you all the time.

We priced a room here, $20 per person per night with breakfast or $15 pp/n without breakfast. Was dark inside and cold plus an electrified suicide shower. We went to the Inti Sisa guesthouse instead, much much nicer!

Camping is Working, hot shower all free! not so clean, but good.

30 pesos 1 hour 200 pesos for 24 central parking .. . it's locked at night and nobody is there but I asked and it is possible to sleep in you vehicle no height restriction very central I was awaiting my shipping and stayed at Hotel Sanora across the road

Relatively flat pullout on the side of narrow Voltaire Canyon Road. 2-wheel-drive accessible: we came here once we saw firsthand how steep and rocky “backside of Tahoe” was near the end. Very little car traffic, weak AT&T + Verizon signals

Excellent camping all along this road. Many sites along the river. Rock fire rings. The river drowns out any noise from the road. Road is paved and intermittent gravel. Sites doable in 2wd. Free boondock camping.

Police and mayor of Flores Peten. Friendly to tourists and very helpful with all issues. Also very informative tourist guide about 100 ft down the hill.

2.95 CAD for a hot shower at the Kicking Horse Campground. Clean facilities. No time limit, you pay at the entrance.

Great place. 40R for 2 people and Toyota 4Runner with roof tent. Nice vibe. Nice town and beach. Helpful and accommodating staff.

This is a great spot! Bathrooms were open 24 hours and very clean and stocked. Quiet little town till around 8ish had some traffic.
