Great place. Large, well established semi permanent holiday home with space for camping. We'll groomed land, share, clean toilets, lovely pool overlooking the lagoon and mountains. Barbecue places. Blissful. R$30 pppn but it is at that level for sure.

They said we could stay overnight if we ate in the restaurant, meal, beef or fish, cost B$10.50 for 2 including a beer. Don’t expect too much! Restaurant open 7 to 10pm when we were here. We parked up near the house with lovely view over the pond. A number of vehicles stopped for dinner, then no one all night. For this part of Brazil the traffic is light (very good road), therefore relatively little road noise. No external facilities therefore you need to be self sufficient. Great overnight stop.

Stayed here as well after coming down. Laguna Verde was too windy and cold. Parked on large mudcracks next to scared grave. Had a good night.

Not improved in two years. Toilets and showers still filthy and cold but it’ll do for one night

Stayed here for four nights. Great place for a few days. Not as beautiful as other places but ok for a „city“. Wifi, hot showers, washrooms, Restaurant with good coffee and beers for fair prices! Payed 15$ a night for the two of us, including a nice breakfast!

E a internet é bem ruim.

Nice spot for a night, toilets don’t have seats and normal Mexican level of maintenance, but also lovely wide grassy areas to camp on.
We paid $120 pesos ($60 pp). The owner (?) spoke great English and was lovely. Apparently they don’t allow dogs, but allowed us to stay with ours since it was after 6pm when they arrived and we were already here (someone else earlier had said it was ok). No one else here.

Arrived late afternoon Tuesday and kids were playing in the sports field and cars would drive by until late in the evening and some with loud music, but no problems whatsoever. At night dogs bark in the distance which is a bit annoying. Overall great for one night.

Easy access as dirt roads are pretty flat and very large, so no issue for our 28’ Class C.

Great bushcamp. We drove further into the bush along the 2 track. Very peaceful no one came past. Good for a stop before the hot springs.

Nice spot. Spent 10 minutes cleaning up the garbage. We parked on the little track leading to the other beach and unfolded our roof rent there.

In between 17:00 and sunset there is more traffic and that makes the place dusty.

Resisted my urge for a skinny dip, did wash myself at the second beach.

Good for one night.

Nice campground with lots of shade. Looks like a popular place (we are here before high season and on a weekday).

The Thermae across the river has a nicer, more natural looking bath, AND they sit right next to the thermal source. The water for San Sebastian is piped across the river - it's the same on either side.

We paid CLP 10,000 per person, which includes the use of the thermal baths (priced at 7,000 per person).

No rain for awhile (couple weeks?)—river crossing easy, maybe 20-30 cm. Embankments only wet from driving through water. Easy
Other river crossing is over concrete dam, shallow and easy

Stayed here two nights in our Westy... ample street parking with an unbeatable view. It was surprisingly quiet, but there was a decent amount of light pollution, so we put up window covers for the night. It's an easy 5-minute walk to Broadway via the pedestrian bridge at the Bridge Building. Downside: no bathroom after 2:20PM.

This is a delightful RV campground that also has 3 large cabanas, which rent for $1200 per night for 4 people. RV sites are $350 for 2. Very friendly managers and the pool, washrooms, and grounds are all immaculate. The property fronts on the ocean, but there is no beach. There are (slippery) steps down to the mostly sandy bottom bay. Wear swim booties! Small fish swim all around you. Tomorrow we will snorkel! We walked out into the bay, but not far enough to get more than chest high in the water. They have caravans here in Jan/Feb/March, but there are only 3 RVs here now. They had a lot of damage from hurricane Juan Luis last year and are still rebuilding their restaurant palapa, bigger and better than before. When done, they will have events like weddings again. The grounds are so spacious that we can't imagine it being overcrowded.

Amazing open spot in the cactus forest on a little rise with a nice view! We drove about another km towards the mission from the last camp in the dry creek as it was feeling so enclosed. There was a fire ring already.
The road from Rosario is in great shape at the moment and can be done without 4x4, even if it's rocky in a few places. Super beautiful!

Small museum in Bahia de Los Angeles - very nice if you are interested in local nature and culture. The staff is very friendly, they've got interesting books about this area and a little garden in front of the building with some cacti and informations about them. By donation. Displays are in both Spanish and English.

We spent one very quiet night here. Not 100% sure we can but no one came. If you arrive by night, be very careful of the ditch each side of the path to get to the spot.
