WunderbareWelt | I think its the best option to camp if you want to see the pyramids. you can see the pyramids from the campground. the family is very nice. you walk 350 meters to the entrance of the pyramids. you pay 50 pesos per person but you safe the parking fee from the pyramids, which is a plus. they have guard dogs and its fenced, so very safe. also, they live there aswell. only negative thing: trash was lying around and everything is pretty worn down. toilets were rough too. but hey, 50 pesos... |

lukas-steiner.com | Nice and clean place to stay for the night, comfortable beds and I negotiated down to 13,000 as well. Manager agreed after showing him this app. Water pressure was not high enough whole evening, so no shower possible but facilities are there and should normaly work. Rooms have enough space to park two bicycle in it |

Les voyages de Jocelyn | Nice hotel with parking for motorbike and small rig (van, SUV, Defender). Clean room with private bathroom. Hot water. Medium-good wifi in some area, but doesn’t reach into some rooms. 100 Q, 1 person. 150 Q for two. |

la_ruta_de_lucho | The place was closed in the evening when I came through. It was open in the morning. I opted for parking down at the lake. Very good spot. I was under a tree. Lots of birds and a wake up to a flat crystal clear warm lake. So good. From the lake I walked to the original spot to try the internet, no go. Didn’t need a password but couldn’t connect. |

serenechen | The administration is across the street from the site itself. We went to ask about payment but they said it was free that night because the guy who looks after the site wasn’t there. We didn’t have access to the shower because it was locked, but otherwise everything was as described. The sites themselves are nice enough with tables and refugios, but not much of a view and you can still hear the odd vehicle because you’re still fairly close to the carretera. |

Warthog&PenguinOnSafari | I am just so disappointed I did not try this place until our last day in Maun - if I'd discovered it sooner I might have had lunch and breakfast here every day! Fantastic menu selection and excellent quality food (and drink!). Reasonably priced too.

carlssonemma | Perfect location for easy access to the entrance. There are lots of space though if you search around a little, and can easily fit several tents. Good wind protection among the trees. Water is found in a river just a few km before. We tried to do sneaky business and access the park at 6.30. Got stopped by a ranger.. |

severin_haider | Neeeeveer sleep the night there! I did, woke up the next day and all the inside car room is wet now. The beach disappears completly, especially in the night, because of the flood. Al my clothes are wet, my camera and my laptop broke. Please don‘t stay there for the night. At least on daytime it‘s a very nice place. |

shashaperalta | What a lil’ gem! $15 camping with a trailer or you may work for your keep! They fed me, entertained me, and I met some really awesome folks! You may stay as long as you’d like as long as you’re respectful. So much to explore here! Sandy, dirt road. Cross many washes so beware of weather causing flash floods. AWD pulling a teardrop trailer did ok. Lots of dogs on property. |

lisa.thyrion | Great place. Road was ok for our 21ft Toyota Dolphin. It is ‘just’ a parking lot, but the surroundings make it so much more. Moreover it empties at night. Cold showers and toilets with buckets of water. Stayed two nights: 60MXN pp per night. Lifevests for rent: 50MXN, supposed to be obligatory, but didn’t seem to be reinforced. People told us the restaurant was good. Great snorkeling on left & right, beautiful little hike to Mermaids beach. Dogs ok, during low tide you can explore all the adjacent beaches off leash. Notes: it can be windy here, we had one bad day, two good ones (for snorkeling). |

KATventure | We stayed 3 nights and would have stayed longer if not for the cicadas which were noisy beyond belief. They have spots for overland trucks, but big rigs also fit in camps 6 and 7. Best MTN cell phone signal is in the lapa at camp 6. Watch out for the monkeys, they even open tents and car windows. Never move more than 2m away from your grill, or you will go to bed hungry ;-) |

hairventures | Nice spot in the harbor. Park in the white spaces not yellow. Apparently you can continue on and park I front of the coast guard as well. Short walk into town. Restaurant in harbor, small bit of sandy that our son played in but a big sandy beach in town. |

fernwehafrica | We stayed two nights, very friendly helpful place and as described by others. We camped next to a bungalow and we paid the same price of $11.5, but had free use of the bungalow and could sleep in there too. Didn’t get to do a coffee tour due to an issue on the farm, but did a tasting in reception for free. They sold us some eggs too when we ran out. Good place to stay for r&r and also plan your next steps. |

klaraklabel | we spent a night here with our tent. since we arrived at 9 pm, we were not able to tell the guardparque that we were there, but no one cared. in the morning there were a few tourists, who arrived with a bus, but apart from that it was really quiet. we are still in off-season though. |

alaskangrownvan.com | 50p is for 12 hours. they write your entry time on your ticket that you show when you leave. 12-24hrs is 100p. Price for showers and toilets still the same, 25p and 5p. showers clean and warm enough. toilet is in with the shower room so potential for a 2 for 1 :) |
