Our family loved camping here.
There are clean bathrooms, and a clean kitchen available to use with large fridge.
Internet for us was fast enough to even stream.
There are fruit trees. Ducks, chickens, turkeys, sweet dogs, cats and a parrot.
The best part about this location is the family. They are all very nice. Our kids loved playing with theirs.
Next to their house is a rock you can climb with amazing views of the area. We also went to the swimming hole nearby to cool off from the heat during the middle of the day.
There is a fútbol field and you can cross it and walk easily in to the small town for helado, 1-2 restaurants, and a small kiosco. (Most shops shut down mid-day til 6 pm).
The stars were very pretty at night and this place was quiet. Highly recommend. We paid 400 pesos for our family.

Absolutely stunning campground at Lillooet Lake. Pretty small, a few (maybe 5) sites are big enough for an RV. Nice beach at the campground with a boat ramp. Stunning view! Free in winter!
In season it‘s 13$ per night.
Firepits, picnic tables.
The road there is pretty rough but if you drive slow it’s ok. There are hotsprings an hour or so further.

Parking in front of the hostel is run with meter. They allowed me to have a shower for 50 pesos but otherwise I was banned from entering, WiFi, kitchen- you are not a guest...Very unpleasant. This has never happened to me before when parking outside a hostel. I was too tired to leave the same day but will definitely tomorrow. What a change from Chante18 in Puebla!!

Ana’s office is in the second last building on the right in this dead end street. Ring at ‘Falcon Freight’.
I didn’t have much luck with her. She moved me from one container to the next (because she makes more money with cars than a single motorcycle). The whole process took a month and four visits to her office.
motorcycle is 500$-700$, depending how many cars she can put into the same container.

This is one incredible heritage site. Unfortunately it's too much expensive. 50$. But, but tickets are valid for 5days. Maybe you can find another tourist leaving Lalibela gives it to you for free. Up to you. Just you know at the entrance of every single church they will ask you the passport. But you can say you have left at the hotel and show a business card of the tourist that gave you the ticket. This is just an information that maybe can help you. The rest, up to your conscience and up to your daily budget.

It's more than a scrapyard than a camping. They ask us at what time we want to come in to set the price (?). We said 3PM and they asked us 150Q for à night... No service except clean bathroom. Wouldn't feel safe to spend a night at this place. We left after a visit.

Here you get your carnet stamped. Go inside and in the room on the right is a man who can do it (see photo). Other people here from the customs kept sending us the wrong way many times and had never seen a carnet before.
With carnet your vehicle can stay max 6 months in Nepal. According to this man you can go to India for 1 day and can come back and leave the vehicle in Nepal for again 6 months. Not sure if that's the official rule or not. You could also choose to not have your carnet stamped, because it's pretty much an open border and you can cross without being stopped.

Came by in March - basically derelict. Either planning some redevelopment or taking “run down” to a new level. Tried the other place in Belgrade which was find for an overnight stop but definite not a destination.

Seems to be an old Park for recreation at the lake. Also some new buildings, but not in use. A real „Lost Place“ in the middle of nowhere.

It’s just beside the rute, wind protect and enough place. Not too many cars. There are too many cotorras ( kind of papagayos), that talk too much!

I don’t know if it is comfortable for tents,, but actually there is couple with one at the spot.
