Very good dentist. The standard are like in Europe and its quite cheap. Very friendly doctor, who gave us an appointment on a short notice. Business card from the dentist at the photo.

Really great spot for tent and car camping. The bathrooms are very clean and the road into the park was curvy and beautiful. Was $12 a night at the self pay kiosk. We arrived at 1am the first night and there were many spots still available.

Multiple pullouts along here, I preferred this one as you can pull fully off the road, it's not on a corner so less chance of a crash and it isn't so close to the trailhead that it would annoy busses. Amazing views down the valley and only 2mins walk to start laguna 69 trail. Free.

Nice spot, we were all alone (some bikers stopped by), but suddenly, right before sunset, 3 bus of tourists stopped here to eat and watch the sunset. They stayed an hour or so. then left, and we were alone again. Lots of vehicles on the road though. We didn't have any problem with our 2wd van.

we went there at 10.15, very few people. very nice to float in the water. we saw 5 flamingos but far away.

Nice place, was busy with tourists so not a very quiet camp spot. The area to park is pretty small.

The way down is steep and has become very bumpy (looks like people have had trouble getting up and spun their wheels). Driving back up is tricky, engage low gear and lock your diff.

Nice place to stay overnight. Very quiet after sunset, not busy during the day.

There are signs stating driving on the beach is not allowed, locals do it anyway. You can also stay towards the trees if you don’t want to drive on the beach.

Good quality gravel road through the mountains, linking Yitti with the main road. Very scenic drive.

Really good coffe! Great place to chill and use Wifi! The pan was soooo good to. :)

It‘s expensive but wonderful... we enjoyed here the afternoon after the trail to the glaciar queulat. We asked to stay in our campervanonthe parking lot and they allowed us - very nice.

Finally we found a place to refill our gas bottle, homemade system but it works, 40 Bs per refill.

Only one guy here, didn’t look to be military, just was wearing an orange vest and waved us through. Super easy👍

Excellent campsite. Great facilities and friendly owners that would like to help you with everything you need.
Free wifi at the shared area. We paid 500 a night. Clean bathroom and nice kitchen to prepare some meals.

Hikes to 3 waterfalls in the primary cloud forest- not touristy, very peaceful and quiet. Guide is optional and speaks English. Very beautiful reserve. Entrance (day-pass): $9 pp. They offer tent camping: $16 pp first night and $7pp from then on, and you can park the vehicle at the entrance (small vans, better if 4x4 to get there). Hoy shower. The owners Juan and Sonia are very welcoming and nice. They offer food if asked in advance, but they will also offer free coffee and fruit. Plenty of birds and a beautiful garden. Soon they will have cabins too. Phone: 0997863172 (Sonia), 0992414818 (Juan). Pet friendly, but they have two big but friendly dogs. No wifi, but there is Claro reception 3G.

Yes there are signs, park closed at midnight. Bathroom locked shut at sunset. Outdoor showers open during summer.

very clean place, didn't stay but dumped for 50 pesos and made my laundry for 2.50$ US. very friendly owner.

Road to it is a snowmobile road in the winter. No stars only because I didn’t stay there.

It was nice when we went there, but it was also winter still so not much to see. What was there was nice to look at and will probably be nicer in warmer months.

We parked on the street across from the police station as it seemed like the safest place for street camping. There's a few restaurants around too. Not too busy, not too quiet.

The lamp "Service Engine Soon" had been on for several months. The Ford dealers in Canada and USA and in Mexico as well would replace the engine computer. We came to this workshop by accident and were lucky for at least two reasons. First they are highly professional. They worked with the engine until they identified the failure which was extremely challenging. Secondly, they have a mechanic who speaks excellent English. And I could add a third reason: They did't ruin us although we spent several days in their waiting room.
I don't think they'll work on other makes than Ford.

Filled our 11 kg GERMAN bottle without any adapter in 20 minutes for 16.100 chil. Peso at 10:30 a.m.. had to ask twice the lady at the desk. first she said not possible. than 03:00 p.m.. that in 15 minutes but made it directly. don't leave without gas!!!

You can get drinking water! ! from the tape inside the Oficina. It's mointainwater from the border of Bolivia. Taste is fine but it's warm out of the pipe. Ask the guard Ricardo he will help you and is happy to get some conversation! !And a coffee if you come with your Rv.

March 2019: Ferry to Masirah. One way with NFC for a 10t camper truck is RO35 plus 3.60 per passenger; there is also a private operator which is widely used by the locals and runs when its full; charge for a 10t camper truck is RO35, passengers included … the vessel is a somewhat older model :-) but we got over and back again safely

same price but with your own vehicule the entrance is only between 9 and 13. maybe only in summer time ?

Aaron is honest, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He got my van liveable in a week. I didn’t think it would be possible, yet I have electricity, heat, ventilation, lighting, insulation, and a toilet. He explained concepts clearly and simply, as he wanted me to understand all the systems and how they work. I’m definitely returning to him to add upgrades, such as the security cameras and a stereo system. I am so happy with every piece, it’s a wonderful experience working with Aaron.
