As described. Good structure to spend the night in the middle of nowhere.
They even have some rooms if you need.

Balsa between GOYA and RECONQUISTA, it takes two hours, cost 2700 pesos (65 usd approx) for a camper on Nissan Navara and two persons, every day at 16:00 from Goya and 06:00 from Reconquista...No service onboard but worth the experience !!

Nothing bad to say. Ok you are in a parking lot (the village is so small, almost impossible to Park anywhere else) but you're in front of the océan and can relax under the cabanas for shadow. The owner is not nice. She has different prices for différent reasons and it doesnt make sense. Be sure to deal when you arrive and pay when you deal.

Quite a drive if you’re expecting just a quick overnight off the main road type stopover. Beautiful drive high up into the mountains about 40km off the main road. No signs until virtually at the place but lovely grassed area surrounded by trees for camping and basic flush toilet and hot donkey shower with decent pressure. If you arrive lateish you can’t get dinner but they have their own home made cheese and bread available. Great stopover. Apparently good hikes if you want to stay longer. Very pleasant all in all

absolutely beautiful! Very well preserved cascade pools leading to top of waterfall. lots of good swimming spots in cascades. There is a small viewing/rest area beside the falls and then a very steep ladder like stairs leading to the river below the falls.
From the entrance to first swim area about 5 mins, and to the river about 20 mins.

Paid gate guy 20p (solo).
Road from there is very rough and a little steep but made it with my little civic hatchback.

At the bottom of the road is the campsite/entrance.
Entrance fee 30p and parking 20p
camping is 60p but parking and entrance is included.
Camp area is a big well kept field with palm trees. basic facilities and nice owners. Lots of space for tents or vehicles of any size (not sure if I would take a big RV down this road though).

I was the only one camping and maybe 10 people came during the day (Tuesday).

We stayed here a total of four nights. The owner is incredibly friendly (fluent English for whom it matters) and has very helpful tips on what to see, what to do. Not as busy as other places so nice to chill out in the courtyard and relax. We definitely preferred this over the police station as it has sanitary facilities (hot showers with towels provided), is in a good location and breakfast included. Oh, and good WiFi when we were there (not many guests).

here you can buy all kind of cheese. Made us really happy :)

Nice overnight and early morning. Otherwise lots of traffic and people. Great view.

Small quarrel in a wood farming area. No sign, no gate, no fence. Surroundings are quite nice, actually. But yeah, it's a quarrel.. Did the job for us arriving just before sunset on a rainy day on the way to Rhodes.

Really peacefull place, nice camping, clean abolutions and hot water. Mäuser the owner is a very nice guy, super friendly and an amazing cook! Up at the lodge there is the biggest swimmingpool of northern Namibia, with a tower to jump off into the pool, how cool is that! enjoy your stay:) price: 125N$

IT IS A PAY PARKING. IT IS AROUND 20$ US FOR A DAY PARKING. LOTS LIGHT AND QUIET AT NIGHT.
FOR THAT PRICE IT IS BETTER WALLMART WITH CLEAN TOILET 24 HRS.

Forget camping here but it is an incredible museum for the very good value price of 6000 francs per person. For this you get a personal guide who explains a lot about each exhibit as you go. It is outstanding.

still no fees, but also no ammenities...

WARNING. We called in to stay but checked the price first and we were first shown a very nice room but she quoted $85 US per night. We said no thanks so then she showed us another room not so good as the first and it was $70 US per night. Way too much so we left and stayed at the Hotel Ibis for $50 US per night.

Great modern pub with many delicious, mostly chilaen, craft beers on tap. Fast wifi. Spent one night parked opposite on the unexpectedly quiet street.

Magnificent spot, remote and quiet. I stayed a couple hundred metres more west along the pebble beach. There are a couple of ruins around, looks a bit like an abandoned settlement. Also there's a marked hiking trail along the valley, red/white markings. Definitely a place to spend a couple of days.

Nice rest area with some isolated parkings behind the building. There is a dog trail, vending machines, clean restrooms and picnic tables with grills. Security is present and they let us sleep there for the night without issues. Dump station with water hose for cleaning in the front.

A new guesthouse opened in januari 2019. It’s now more a guesthouse than a camping. There is not an offical place to pitch your tent. But you can stand everywhere. You can use the showers and toilet in one of the rooms, there are two braais and a nice swimmingpool. Directly at road from windhoek to Swakopmund. Everything is under construction and the owner is very enthousiast and works hard to make it to something very good. Camping 100 NAD per person. A single room 300, double room 550. Breakfast 70. WiFi was under construction.
