Flattish Area just below the checkpoint. We stayed, as the pass is closed to traffic on a Tuesday. The checkpoint staff are very friendly and we were viewed by many other people who arrived not realizing the pass was closed, but were not bothered by them. A peaceful night but the traffic for the pass started early. Water and toilet available at the checkpoint.
