Description

This pin is located at the big rig entrance/exit for Tsitsikama Wolf Sanctuary which also allows camping. If you arrive at this entrance call Robin on +27 82 956 4175 to open the gate.

Camping with the wolves is offered for 100R pppn (or voluntary donation, just talk to Robin) and there are ablutions, power, and water. Not sure about showers.

You actually camp between wolf enclosures and you can listen to them howl at night. Beautiful. Hiking huts (byo linen) and a fully furnished cabin are available too.

Wolf tours are 100% worth it and you can pet/scratch some of them, lovely animals.

Robin, Raven, and Andrew are really knowledgeable and passionate about this Sanctuary and it's a great cause to support.

Report Check-In

Campsite not quite ready, so no ablutions. Asked R200pp for parking near wolf pens. Didn't stay.

If you are totally of the grid you can camp here.
Not a real ablution, just a hole in the ground.
Nice people, cool location. We went somewhere else because we liked to shower.
