Easy to miss side track off Highway 11, unmaintained recreation area in beautiful setting. Lots of level sites, suitable for all rigs, portable toilets and fire rings. Quiet and scenic, can stay up to 14 days, no charge.

This is such an awesome free camp if you can get in early to get a spot! There’s multiple toilets, and lockers for food. Definitely recommend this one!

Report Check-InNice sites between trees or near the lake for free. There was a grizzly in the area. We saw him next to our van (less than a meter) in the morning 😅
Report Check-InAbraham Flats - marked turn off with pit toilet, staging area and signage for free camping up to 14 days. Pack it on, pack it out. Absolutely gorgeous views of the lake! Lots of secluded spots! There was a grizzly in the area but didn’t bother us! Love this place!☮️
Report Check-InNo charge, max 14 day stay. Lots of free spots, closer to the shore the worse the terrain gets. Large level spots for campers. Bathrooms are in the parking lot though. Easy to find and navigate, beautiful view and access to the river, highly recommend.
Report Check-InAmazing spot, 14 day max stay no utilities. we had decent service for the most part. Pulled in with a 30' trailer and a truck. Best to walk down from the parking lot and plan the spot you take before driving in. Nearest service is Bighorn, alcohol is Nordegg 20-30 minutes away

Amazing place with plenty of spots, you can park right on the beach, a lot of stone fire pits. You can camp there for max 14 days in row.
