Fairly easy border crossing, similar to entering El Salvador. BUT, be aware, a “helper” tried to get us to pay him $30 for fumigation. He said that as we cross Honduras there would be 3 checkpoints, all of which required us to pay him for fumigation before we arrived, otherwise it would cost us an extra $5 at each point plus a long waiting line. We refused and told him to stop scamming people and left. We are now more than half way across Honduras and have had no checkpoints stops us, nor did any require a fumigation! Scammer!
