Description

MODERATOR NOTE: Place removed because camping is illegal here. Signs posted and enforced

The area is all gravel coming from the main road and had some established off road tracks that you can take to find camp. We parked next to the river around some overgrown shrubs. Great spot right off the highway. Take exit Dyerville loop rd off 101. Turn left on Avenue of the Giants, then the area is to the right.

Beautiful spot. Spent the afternoon here, did not stay overnight. There is a no camping sign here now and also had a very friendly park ranger come by in the afternoon to make sure no one would be camping here. He directed me to the vista point just south of Stafford (15 miles north of here he said) on the 101 as a place to spend a night in a vehicle. It’s only accessible from 101 southbound.
