We parked our van and had dinner, after an hour the police came and said that there was a stabbing nearby a day earlier in the forest , with overlanders involved, thus they said wildcamping is not allowed in the whole of medicine hat anymore. So we had to leave. Police were very nice about it though and felt bad we had to move.
Report Check-InVery nice place, there is a parking just before the entrance of the park. We slept there for one night and accessed the park in the morning.
Report Check-InNice for big rigs but not good for tents. Bathrooms near and a lot of deers.
Report Check-InQuiet residential street next to Town’s Island Park. Park closes at 11pm, but street parking is unmarked around the entry to the park itself.
