Nice small parking lot for privately owned beach....but it is available to the public. Room for a few small RVs to overnight (but after the beach-goers’ cars have departed for the afternoon). Must take your garbage with you. No containers provided
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Just arrived to this spot and there is a new ‘No camping’ sign in the parking lot. We are local to this area and this sign has only been put up in the last week or so. It’s unfortunate, as we’ve seen a lot of respectful campers from all over the world stay here when visiting lunnenburg.
Report Check-InVery nice and silent place! Be careful
with this place, it is a private ground
Very quiet and peaceful at night. Good place for van. A little uneven parking lot but ok. About 5 others stayed as well.
Report Check-InPetit stationnement. Difficile de manœuvrer un VR car il y a beaucoup de voitures
Report Check-InGreat spot on quiet road. Busy parking lot between people coming to see the sunset and those who will stay to camp. Get here earlier if you want a flat spot. No amenities.
Report Check-InSuper dark and quiet at night. It's so beautiful here in June with Lupine flowers all over the side of the road. There's no toilet in the area but there's pit toilet at the 2nd peninsula picnic park that's only 6min drive away. This park is also very nice with picnic tables by the beach. Very beautiful area to check out in June to see wild flowers.
Report Check-InReally nice spot. Not complete flat but manageable. Close to the beach and very quite.
Report Check-InVery quiet parking lot in front of the beach. Close to the road but hardly any vehicles passing by, locals left latest 20.30h. Sandy ground bit muddy this time and exposed to winds. Great stay overall!
Report Check-InWhat a beautiful beach and quiet parking lot. There was one other van staying the night.
Report Check-InWe enjoyed our stay at this beautiful little beach. Locals came by to walk their dogs and hang out, but it was very quiet even on a Saturday night. There’s a hand-painted sign outlining the beach rules (no alcohol, etc.), but there is no mention of “no overnight parking”.
Report Check-InBeautiful beach! Was alone after ~8pm. Had no problems but I’ve heard that a woman, I think the owner of the beach, comes around sometimes and asks people to leave.
Report Check-InBusy during the days so come later.
Very peaceful. Some locals come to have fires and hang out on the beach at night but are pretty quiet.
Stayed 2 nights no problem
