Something not right?

Description

An open campsite near the highway with a small river (where you can swim, fish and even go tubing) and a bonfire pit.

We drove by and the owner Mike, his wife and their dog came to say hi. They take donations because they want to set up more amenities for the campers. We gave 20$, they said it was too much. Amazing people.

By next year there should be toilets and showers, all of that for free! Pass the word.

Addit. info: Also open in winter time with snow

This is a private campground run by a lovely gentleman named Mike who goes out of his way to make campers feel welcome. He has many sites, some with power and up the hill from the highway, and several others close to the road with views of the pond and fields beyond. $20 gets you a night under starry skies, a firepit (with supplied wood). There is some road noise because I opted to stay close to the road rather than take my campervan over a fairly rutted road up the hill. I'm a baby, but the camper is new, so I am being super careful. Awoke to a covering of snow and a 15-minute drive to Bryce Canyon.

We stumbled on this little campground after learning the one we’d planned on was closed for the season. Riverside is being developed, is a bit rustic dry camping along the Sevier River and only 20 minutes to Bryce Canyon visitor center. At $25/night we paid less for 2 nights than one night cost of a FHU closer to Bryce and we didn’t have to haul our 5th wheel there! The owner is very nice and accommodating. He accepts cash or he has visa/Mastercard ability. We lucked into the “prime” site 4 right beside the river. All the sites west of the river have gorgeous sunrise views, are excellent for solar and Starlink works fabulously. There are more sites across the river which currently has a 5 ton limit on the bridge. This is also being upgraded. Thanks for a great stay!

Great place. We came late and found nearly all other campgrounds and places closed due to heavy snow. This one was open, plowed and because we came so late and only dry camped the friendly owner only charged 5$

This place is great. Mike is so nice and helpful. Free firewood, hook up, water, restrooms. Verizon service was great 3-4 bars. They are working on a general store at the front of the campground. 10ish sites I believe but Mike says they don’t fill up/he will make room for others if full. Please support this really nice couple.

This is no longer for free, $20/night. I arrived late, so they only charged $10 the next morning. Great level spot right at the river, good at&t service, great for a night. But the highway is on the other side of the river and is noisy during the day.

Nice creek flowing through property. Stopped by to have lunch and fish.... didn’t catch anything but there small browns and bows... we saw quite a few. Spoke with owner and she said overnight stay is $20. I think $10 would be a fair price but it’s still a nice little spot.
Spots have fire pits and picnic tables. Owners seem really nice! Directly off the road, keep an eye out for the huge CAMP sign.
