The Molokai Trail starts about 600m from here and is a 17km trail through Guyana forest, with a carbet after 6,5 km en route to overnight. It is amazing. With small rivers to cross and to refresh.

after the petrolstation go left on the junction. there is a infoboard. a wonderfull walk through the Amazon. 6,5 km to the carbet on the route to Coralie ( 17 km). We walked to the carbet and back. almost a whole day walk, very good! the trail is well signposted with
yellow signs on a good track. maybe in rainy times it is very slippery.
We only went to first spot where the trail crosses the river so our dog could cool down. Nice scenery in the middle of the rainforest. I reckon the trail must be amazing.
