Grassy camp right at lake. Windy in the evening, quiet in the morning. Perfect for sunset over lake. Local lady charged us Soles 10.-

We stayd here all the afternoon with our van. At night, one man comes and ask 5 dollares for stay to sleep. We said we don't have dollares. He said so 10 soles for a night for the car or bye bye. It was night.. we paid 10 soles. Quiet and a lot of sun :)
Report Check-InWe tried to camp here and an extremely rude man told us it is private property and it would be 20 dollars to camp (yes dollars). I said of course we wouldn't pay that and he said it was either that or leave, so we left. Most unfriendly person I have met in recent memory. I think overlanders have overstayed their welcome at this spot.
Report Check-InBest spot on the peninsula, park behind the little building and you will be partly out of sight. Amazing sunset and view! We had nothing to pay (no old lady).
Report Check-InGood firm grass (it didn't rain) for our 2x4 vehicle. Beautiful sunset over the lake. Knocking outside at 7am woke us up, but by the time we answered the door we saw an old lady walking away in the distance and she didn't return before we left so we paid nothing.
Report Check-InGrassy camp right at lake. Windy in the evening, quiet in the morning. Perfect for sunset over lake. Local lady charged us Soles 10.- but the day after we found out that this was not her property and she was cheeting us
