Temporarily closed due to construction. Gorgeous location however the road is closed and unable to access parking.
Report Check-InStayed here 2 separate nights, no issues. There are not any facilities, you’ll have to go into the big parking lot to the south for your bathroom breaks (there’s an outhouse).
There are Scientology buildings everywhere. You will be located right next to the church. How comforting.
Encountered another van lifer. See photo
Report Check-InStayed here last night , the large lot says no overnight parking but the street parking or lot that backs to the water seems unrestricted. I stayed in my 25ft class C no problem. I saw a large class A stay in the large lot even though it had "no overnight parking" signs posted and he was still there in the morning. Great spot close to everything!
Report Check-InVery beautiful location, definitely a legit spot. Got here around 5pm and there was plenty of parking. There is a nearby parking lot that says "no oversized vehicles" and "no overnight parking", but there were definitely RVs and vans there overnight. Many vans on the street by 10pm. There are porta potties right inside the park.
there's no way for me to change the rating, so it's stuck at 2.5?, but I'd give it a 5.
Report Check-InRoad was closed for construction and the few spots there were definitely we not level
Report Check-InParked at 3:00 set up some chairs and enjoyed the birds and people watching. Quiet night even though there was some local/transit folks roaming around through the night.
Report Check-InWe arrived before dark and couldn't believe how nice this spot was. Walking alongside the marina several time during sunset and into the evening made this a gem. The area was very clean and didn't have any issues. Street noise was minimal. This spot is only minutes away from the walking path that you can walk or bike over the causeway. Great park right across the street.
Report Check-InLike everyone said, great place to stay! Accept the "cleaning guy" who broomed the street at 1.00.AM )!!), no one bothered us! Toilet in the parc (not too clean)
Report Check-InAll fine for a night. The spot mentioned here was blocked due to a festival, which seems to last many weeks. There is accessible parking further south closer to the bridge along the same road. Also some parking lots that have no "no" signs so they should be ok too. Best to access via Cleveland St. Nice walk/bike over the bridge to the beach.
Report Check-InEverything is as described. We parked here in the afternoon, had some walk and spend the night. No one bothered us, no disturbances of any kind. There's traffic noise from the bridge but past midnight it became really quiet. A little further at the entrance to the pier is a little house with restrooms and showers for the marina tenants (they have keys for it). I asked and was allowed to use the restroom, in daytime.
Report Check-InGot a few more campers here tonight. It’s just a perfect place to stay. Thanks to the city of Clearwater!!!
Report Check-InAlthough it is generally hard to find boondocking spots in Florida, this one seems perfectly legitimate to me. No "no overnight parking" sign. Very nice and clean urban area along the ocean, just aside a marina and a large grassy area (Coachman Park).
A few cars were parked on the street, and another RV stayed for the night as well.
Quiet at night.
We took our bicycles across the bridge the next morning to visit Clearwater Beach (the barrier island). This was a nice bike ride.
