It’s a nice campground, however extremely busy, which is not my preference. It’s got beautiful scenery if you park in the 20’s, as your rig backs up to the river. I only stayed for 2 nights, but it’s a great value for the price.
Report Check-InSlept here because we wanted to be close to the Buffalo Trace Distillery and also because Lexington seems to have some pretty strict no overnight street parking rules. Was $25 and quite a lot of cars but was a nice quiet spot for the night.

Report Check-InThey have a couple of sites open year round. No water, no facilities during off season. Nevertheless this is a nice quiet convenient place for our overnight stop. Recommend giving the owners a call to save your site.
