Description

FREE. Beautiful spot by the lake. Very peaceful. Only horses and rabbits. In November (spring/summer) we had snow and can be v windy but that's not a big surprise in Patagonia.

Great spot. Spent 3 nights here. On the first day, a few locals stopped by for the day. The rest we had the place for us alone.

There is a free wild camping site. Shelter from wind and beautiful place. Very quiet.

Beautiful spot. Glorious views and privacy. Easy access. Driftwood on the beach. Three separate camp spots. Been through here when it was blowing a gale two years ago December. Was sunny and calm this trip late January.

Really great spot. As mentioned before, nobody around, not even during main season, next to the lake. Different opportunities to camp. Highly recommend when you want to escape the campgrounds with all the tourists. Around 4km towards North there is a small house from the local fishing control and they even have free internet if you ask them. If you want to fish you have to buy a licence online (6'400arg$ (over 60US$) for foreigners and 800arg$ (8US$) for locals for one week)

Great point meters from the lake. Beautiful sunset. Fire spot and wind protection

Report Check-In

This is the most amazing spot we have found already. It is sheltered from the wind. We spent some days with winds of 90 km/h and we were alright here.
It is not as close from the Lake as the other spot, but the view is better.
Under the trees there is a perfect place to put a tent.
All the days that we spent here during summer holidays, only horses, rabbits, eagles, birds and sheep were here, no other humans.
We drank the water of the Lake and it is very pure. It is a paradise.

This is one of the best spots we have found already. Infinite drinking water from the Lake, infinite dry wood, shadow and wind shelter provided by some trees, and no human presence at all, even during summer holidays. It is a perfect wild camping spot.

epic view... and decent shelter from wind provided by small hill and a few trees. two good camo sites, one up one lower, both with fire rings. easy access to lake and dry drift wood. Had it all to our selves and loved it.
