It is said to be the most balneario town of all Peru. Guarded parking 24/24 by the police. Toilets and showers available near the church (not sure if open weekdays). Can by noisy at night better to park a bit further down the car park. Ideal situation near the beach, and the 5 kms pedestrian malecon.

We checked it out and left. It is street parking, no fence, no wall, nothing around it. Also we didn't see any police guarding it. Might be because it was dark and nothing looks nice when you arrive in the dark but we wouldn't recommend to stay here.
