A nice big place with big parking spaces, for 20 dollars, brand new shower/toilet block

Great place with camping spots by the river. $20 for first night and $12 per night. Cl3an washrooms and showers. Will return again next time I am in the area.
Report Check-Invery nice place with warm showers, and all is clean and the place is very nice ! You can hear the river water flowing from the campsite, gorgeous! we will definitely go back
Report Check-InNice, clean and safe. $20 a night dry camping with picnic table and all paved roads. Hot showers and clean bathrooms.
Report Check-InArrived on a Saturday night around 6pm, plenty of spots available. Same price if you book your site online vs with the camp host who will take your credit card. $20 per night includes the $8 reservation fee at this time of year. Easy to arrive after dark-all sites are level, paved, pull through. New showers and bathrooms. Very nice camphost!
Report Check-Innice campground. Have to register online. Half empty on a Friday in January.
Report Check-InThis was a good stay. Dirt road winds down along the river way past the organized camp ground. No one around…very quiet. Full att bars. Lazy river. Not sure about permission, etc. worked well for me.
Report Check-InGreat place, space between each pitch, a table with enough space to make a fire and a barbecue. Very quiet, clean toilets and shower. Rob the manager is super nice. I sincerely recommend.
Report Check-InGreat place, 24$ / night + 8$ fees. They have a brand new Showers/Toilets block and hot water.
Report Check-InWe thought to sleep near the lake Isabella but it was too fresh. We went down to this camp-site and there was place left and we were very satisfied. It was nice, the site is green and quiet with squirrels everywhere! There were chemical toilets, tables and fire rings, for 30$.
Report Check-InI really like this campground especially during the off season when it's only $12 a night... but it sucks that right now it's $25 a night PLUS an $7 registration fee and there's still no showers
Report Check-InGood for an overnight. No water, showers. Port a potty toilets. ew showers and toilets under construction.
Report Check-InNice campground on the river. Hard to beat at $12… website payment only. Kinda sad to see the amount of small trash in the grounds :(
Report Check-InI have actually stayed here a week. Weekdays are quiet and weekends are full. Quiet when no one is here. I was able to set up my Starlink on Campsite #8 with no problems although there were some times when the satellite was too busy to let me on around 3pm for a few hours. Both rooms are suppose to be under construction but there are no signs of any work being done. They have campfire pits where you can have a fire which I think is insane considering the area is such a dried fire hazard. I have stayed at three different sites here and was by the river where there are horses across from it. All sites are the same price. October 15th begins their winter season for $12 a night. Normal price is $25. I am sure it will go up once they finish their bathrooms if that ever happens. Rob is the host and actually gave me some better spikes for my awning. He said to ask him if I need anything like that because people leave things all the time. I will stay here again when passing through.

Report Check-InLovely, calm and quiet site right on the river. We were able to make a same-day reservation online when we knew we’d get in late, no problem with a 9:30pm arrival. Sites have easy pull-through driveways for our truck with a 17ft trailer, and are wide open with lots of grassy space in between. Camp host was super friendly and carries dog treats!
Report Check-InGreat quiet spot with hiking, biking and boating close by. Easy commute off hwy. Pet friendly. Hot showers a s fire rings. We will stay again! $20 for first night $12 thereafter
Report Check-InEarlier reports of Nov 2019 still seem accurate, self pay kiosk still doesn’t work, camp host says it’s a known issue. He checked us in with his iPad...$20 includes the goofy $8 reservation fee for the system that doesn’t work. Potable water for the travel trailer, sewer dump. Easy access to garbage bins. No fee shower. Bathrooms are unseated, rusty/dirty, commode looks to be Dept of Corrections surplus. But it works. Nice open spaces, quiet. Good for overnight stop while traveling. About 15 minutes from Walmart/Costco. Solid AT&T cell signal.
Report Check-InAs of 11/16/19, kiosk is out of order and campers must make online reservation or track down camphost to pay. Sign posted on kiosk warning campers of recent generator thefts and recommending that campers lock up generators. With that and driving through during the day we opted to move on and didn't stay overnight. Bathrooms are very dirty.
Report Check-InOff Season Pricing: $12 + $8 “reservation fee” + $5 per dog with a max of 2
So for off season we got a campsite that was fairly clean and level. Half the park was closed down. The restrooms in the open area were closed for repairs, so you had to walk to closed side. The showers are single stall and based on the rest of the restrooms cleanliness, probably a pass.
For $10 our dogs didn’t receive any amenities ;)
Report Check-InI tried to camp here but after messing with the kiosk for a while and it not working I decided I wasn’t going to stay. The reason I am leaving a review because I hiked at Hart Park Big Loop down the road from here and it was a really nice hike. This campground may be worth it, despite the kiosk troubles and other reported shower cleanliness/value. Also, the kiosk was showing $20 for one night, it $12 for some reason.
Report Check-InThe grounds are nice and the camp host was very friendly but the bathroom didn't look like it had been cleaned in months. The bottom of the urinal and tile around it was brown with filth. I didn't even bother checking the shower. If you have a bathroom/Porta Potty this is a great stop. If you have to use their bathroom, not so much.
Report Check-InGood spot close to town +\- 15 mins to anything you may need. Potable water available and the restroom had warm showers. They are old and not in great shape but the water is warm. 12$ per night plus 7$ for your second vehicle if you're pulling one! The rangers are very nice and there are trails around to explore. There is also the Kern River Bike Path that goes around Ming Lake and up to the CALM (zoo) and continues on to a giant park!
Report Check-Ineigentlich schöner großer Platz mit großen Stellplätzen, für 12 Dollar, aber Sanitäranlagen furchtbar (vorallem Männertoi ohne Türen und Wände...) und Hunde kosten extra 4 Dollar (for what?)
