Elio is very efficient. He removed my CV joint of my T4 VW camper without problem. Clean it up and took out broken bolt and replaced all 6 with new ones. All done in a day. We slept outside on the street by his garage till it opens in the morning. He only speaks Spanish but it was not a problem. He understood us (we speak little Spanish).

I spent a whole month here doing tons of jobs to my vehicle. If you have a VW vehicle that needs some fix or you have some crazy idea to do in your camper don't hesitate to come with Elio and his crew. He is honest, friendly, competent and knows about travelers life and needs. They don't only make mechanic but also body jobs. Also have some commons parts to sell at fear prices. His lovely family is always coming around, sharing with them is a beautiful and authentic mexican experience while your vehicle is getting ready for the upcoming adventures.

Super glad to have found this place! Elio and his family are awesome and made us feel welcome even with our crappy limited Spanish. We got lots of work done on our combi over the course of two days including new front shocks/springs, some welding on our front bumper, new cv boots and other little random things. They offered us to camp in the shop overnight and there was a bathroom and power available. Extremely generous family and honest and affordable prices, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this shop!

If you have any problem with a beetle or kombi, this is your place. elio and his crew do every day nothing else and they love their job and they love especially kombis. he made impossible things possible. super happy

Elio and his family are super. They are open to let you stay at the shop, and do some work yourself. All tools available. Of course you are expected to also have some work for him so he can make some… but while I was there, I’ve seen other travelers just spending a night and not really buying any services. Big hearted family. Super simple shop. Bucket shower available, or you can connect a hose to the tap yourself. Some help with drinking water and also regular water and energy is most welcome. He doesn’t ask… but surely is nice.

Did some engine work on my combi with Elio, he teaches two younger kids to do the job also. Checks all the work and has plenty of new and used parts for beetles and combi’s

Elio is a very good person! Honest and works well. He repaired our engine and received us happily. He loves Vw Kombi. We slept in his workshop every day we need. All your family and staff are very kind. Easy access from the main highway. Fair prices.

Elio is a great VW mechanic. He knows a lot about bichos and Kombis. He is te official mechanic of Club VW of Tuxtla.
He and his lovely family received a lot of travelers. They help to the travelers with a lot of things. He also make restoration parts and paint.

A really helpful and fair priced mechanic, specialized in VW cars and vans. They really love the old combis and want them to travel on.
We fixed our motor, removed rust, fixed our tank and small stuff more and they invited us even to stay in their place for several days.
Really lovely family. Totally recommended!

Un mecanicó de muy buena onda y confianza, espacialisada en VW carros y combis, que trabaja bien y tiene precios justos.
Aqui se quieren los combis viejos y nos ayudaron mucho con continuar nuestra viaje.
Quedamos en su lugar para arreglar nuestro motor, quitar oxido, trabajar en tanque y mas cosas, y nos invitaron de estacionar en su taller y pudimos dormir allí tambien.
Una familia muy amable!
