Nice little free camp site in Winema National Forest. A could fire pits and tables to use.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
A snowy, muddy drive in. Made it just past the railroad tracks and pulled into a spot as I didn’t want to push too much further.
Quiet, some occasional train noise here, guessing we were here a bit early in the season. We’d have pushed in further with better conditions. Glad to have awd
8mbps down ATT
Report Check-InCorral Springs campground. minutes off the road. nice and secluded. around 5-6 spots. picnic tables and fire rings. pit toilets thankfully with tp. no water or dumping. plenty of firewood. shame about garbage some had left behind. cans in the firepit. broken glass. spoiling it for others. however, just at one site. others clean.
Report Check-Inclean quiet close to town definitely a lot of yellow jackets and mosquitoes
Report Check-InAround 5 spots and 2 dump toilets. From what we could see every spot had firepits but no water source I believe, just a little creek. Very silent as well, only the occasional honk of a train in the distance. We recommend!
Report Check-InGreat Location? has benches and fire rings max 14 cars from what the board at the campsite said
Report Check-InYou really can't ask for more if you are looking for a free campsite that's private, only 7 minutes from the highway. We stopped for the night on our way to Bend from Crater Lake. 5 campsites with fire rings
Report Check-InGot in after dark and left before the sun came up so I didn't get a great look at the place but it seemed like a pretty standard and well kept campground. The drive in to get there was a little sketchy and at one point I considered turning around but finally made it there and its a legit campground but free. Zero reception with AT&T.
Report Check-InSweet campsite secluded but still close to a main road good reception two fire pits we saw and a bunch of fire wood around
Report Check-InReally nice campground for free, due to National Forest. Peaceful and quiet to spend the night or to camp, cause it have fire pit and tables. Good cell phone reception.
Report Check-InGreat spot ... 5 campsites and no problem making it in with a 32 ft RV.
Report Check-InGreat spot. Remote, was only one of 2 groups here the Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend and I counted 6 total spots. The road is unpaved and dusty, but I had zero issues getting here in my 2WD sedan. A bit buggy and no AT&T coverage, but I really enjoyed this free site.
Report Check-InNice spot, quiet and only 1 other camper here. Long drive today so I wanted quiet. Wonderful location. Lots of mosquitoes due to the spring.
Report Check-Inperfect little spot! 14day limit, spotty AT&T service. accessible with any vehicle via a well-maintained forest road. pit toilets, fire pits, picnic tables. and it’s free!
Report Check-InNice little free camp site in winema national forest. A could fire pits and tables to use.
