This campground is closed (for the season?). Large green locked gate across the road. Oct 20, 2020
National forest campground outside the NP. It is the first campground coming from the East Entrance of the NP. 15$ per night. Closed for the season after September 29.

Small Forest Service campground.
18 sites, some are pull-throughs. Hard sided camping only. Pulled in at 7pm and got the last site.
Absolutely beautiful stream with easy access from the campsite. Spacious sites feel private. No service on Verizon, T-Mobile, or ATT. Arrived at 5pm and there were three sites left to choose from.
