Description

This RAC resort is one of the most luxurious campgrounds we have come across in Australia. Beautiful new toilets and showers, a large kitchen with ovens, electrical stoves and ample dishwashing facilities. Entertainment room, bar, restaurant and two swimming pools. Laundry with washing machines and dryers. General Store with a basic set of groceries including bread, fruits and vegetables. Fuel station. Directly on the beach. We paid AUD 42 for an unpowered site (2 persons), but were allowed to use power. A powered site is AUD 50. In addition you need to pay entrance fee for the marine park (AUD 20 per day with concession; being Dutch we had no Australian concession card, but that was no problem). Our annual pass for Western Australian parks was not valid. Excellent Telstra reception, good wifi connection on our campsite. Wifi allowance 1 GB per 24 hours per device. Sanitation dump station.

Latest Check-Ins

As previously described. The place is huge and luxurious. The facilities are superb. The unpowered sites are about 20 in a row, 8 rows in a field, packed on to eachother - not really our cup of tea, but the location and the facilities (swimming pool) did make us stay for 2 nights. Unpowered site with the family (2 kids) AUD 62.

Report Check-In

As described earlier. Probably THE best campsite we have stayed in so far in Australia - now $45 Aud for an unpowered site but they have it to us for $41 as we had a Canadian auto club card ( any country is fine ). I think the “park” entrance was $15 aud each ( $10 for seniors, no proof of age was required ) but that is well worth it for the dolphin experience alone - no other fees to pay and it covers 2 days. Very few bugs here which was nice. Sites are flat and facilities incredible !

Great overnight camping spot for monkey mia dolphin adventure! $30 per night for the umpowered site as an RAC member for 2 adults, plus $30 for 2 adults for dolphin "adventure. Good Telstra reception, free WiFi, great shower and kitchen facilities and very busy!

As mention before this is a state of the art camping!!Facilities are all new and well maintained. A bit expensive if you are not an RAC member. We got an unpowered site for 40AU$ and gave us a powered one
