campground closes after labor day but tons of boondocking spots and two large ponds that are stocked. 4 bars of 4g verizon
weird, you can see and hear traffic across the valley to the highway

lots of room to spread out. The road leading to the site does have a good rut from wash, but our Econoline made it fine. Most 2WD vans would be fine with caution. Larger busses and RV's might have some trouble.
Great views and mostly quiet. However the main road (160 highway) can be hear from across the valley.
Good hiking in the valley where Wolf Creek runs. one can also walk the gravel road .4 miles to Tucker Ponds for fishing.
Report Check-Inkeep going up pass creek road There's plenty of spots for even large RVs I took my 24-ft class c towing a pickup truck and had no problems I'm about 7 miles up the road there are plenty of other spots here too. The higher up to go the farther you are away from highway 160 I had almost no road noise actually none Just cows and birds and chipmunks. I had very usable Verizon signal and almost didn't need a booster but it did help a little. sites vary in degree of levelness but you can stack a few rocks and problem solved. lots of OHV everywhere
Report Check-InPlenty of disbursed camping places to pull off the gravel road. No mosquitoes, 4 bars of cell service:)
Report Check-InGreta spot, very tranquil and quiet. We boiled the water of the creek to make some rice and it worked out perfect. Road is a bit rocky but we were able to make it to the first main area with our 2WD Promaster. Clean, no trash when we were there.
