Clean big dumpstation just behind of the Chevron gas station. Easy access for every size of rigs. Free. No potable water just dump.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Very quiet night in the back righthand spaces for cars and rvs. Several others here, no problems at all. Pristine restrooms. Special bonus was the Navajo history timeline in the room adjoining the main station. This is a great rest spot midway between Page and Grand Canyon. Would stay again.
Report Check-In⚠️‼️Would NOT recommend this place! We were woken up at 2am by two younger adults who knocked on our window and asked us if we paid the permit to sleep ($50) We said no and they told us it was fine for the night but we had to move to a diffeeent part of the lot (we were in the furthest back area). We obliged and then they followed us over in their car (which they had draped a towel over the license plate of). We got a little spooked at this point and went to leave but they kept following us, getting close and then backing off. We went around the traffic circle a few times to see if they would just leave us alone but they kept following. We headed towards flagstaff and they followed the whole time. We called the cops but after 10ish minutes (right when we got to the edge of Navajo National) they turned around.
Report Check-InNice large paved lot behind Chevron. Quite a few other truckers, RV’s & vans there for a Monday night. The trailer next to us had their slide out, washed their rig, and ran their generator all night…. But everybody else was quiet and discreet. Would definitely stay here again!
2 things:
— Burger King had a nice sitting area, similar to a coffee shop feel - great place to sit with coffee/meal and charge your phone.
— If you have dogs, watch their paws around the parking lot. Millions of those goat head thorns all around the gravel surrounding the lot.
parked next to the drive-thru line, there are two, we parked next to the outer line that wasn’t being operated. (FYI the drive-thru is a 9ft clearance and our promaster with a maxxair fan did not clear it) pretty level spot, there are trucks that also park on this side so we did hear a light humming all night but that didn’t bother us much at all. no trouble with our t-mobile service. grabbed dinner and then breakfast at BK before heading out, bathrooms are clean. we felt very safe parking here.
Report Check-InParked in the back next to a sprinter and a car camper. Didn’t ask permission but was left alone. After Burger King closed it was very quiet.
Report Check-InVery clean and surprisingly quiet considering it is a truck stop. All the semis seem to park in the back lot (where the dump is) but if you park beside the BK drive-thru you won't hear as much truck noise. There will be some road noise but we've definitely heard worse!
Report Check-InCame here from sunset crater NP on our way to Grand Canyon NP, great spot, pretty flat, lots of space, free. Not so much internet one with T-Mobile.
We park in the back, arrived at 6pm, and left around 9pm very good night of sleep not so much noise.
Some other camper and trailer arrived later after us.
Normally we would try to avoid truck stops but this turned out to be a good spot to stop and rest for the night. Nice clean facilities. A couple of friendly stray dogs on the property. Like other reviewers, we stayed in the rv parking next to the Burger King drive thru.
Report Check-InQuiet night and we parked on the drive through side of Burger King. Shielded from the night wind. Affordable meal at Burger King with free Wifi but slow. Dump is available too.
Report Check-InSafe place to overnight, before or after the Grand Canyon. T-Mobile service is weak, but works. Free wifi at Burger King.
Report Check-InParked here for two nights in our 25’ skoolie.
Driving into the lot we parked in the back right corner away from the semis and had a peaceful quiet night sleep.
Cell service is not great. The cell service in the Cameron Trading Post lot is much better but there is no overnight parking at that location.
Bathrooms inside are very clean and nice.
Would stay again 👍🏼
Report Check-InAwesome spot. Could park away from semis. A few others here. Quiet til morning. I asked inside about parking and they said of course. Noticed Burger King sign that is part of this days free RV parking
Report Check-InVery large lot. Advertises Free Parking for Trucks and RVs. A little truck noise , but it just became background white noise.
Report Check-InParked at the back of building just in front of the trucks there. There were a few RVs and Vans/cars sleepers there. No problem at all. Bathrooms are clean
Report Check-InEstuvimos en dos oportunidades en este lugar, antes y despues del visitar el gran cañon. Super tranquilo
We were twice in this place, before and after visiting the Grand Canyon. super quiet
Report Check-Inas described, behind Burger King there is a very large parking lot. we spent the night a little away from the trucks. We started our generator without a problem. The dumpststion is not working at this time. There are no shadows. At that time in winter the night was a little windy.
Report Check-InBurger King, Navajo Nation Trading Post, and Maverick's Deli all-in-one.
Clean bathrooms open from 6AM to 10PM. We boondocked in the back parking lot with authorization from management. We were instructed to camp anywhere behind the building. We parked opposite the truckers which were full (and noisy). It seemed safe and a good place to boondock. There were two other cars near us with people sleeping inside them.
