Description

Great location to explore Cholula and Puebla. This is an established campground with water, electric, and dumps at each site with nice grassy areas. $300 pesos per night cash only. This is located in an apartment complex with several buildings with residents all around so people are constantly coming and going. It's gated with a 24-hour attendant to let you in and out as you need. Great showers with hot water and beautifully renovated bathrooms with toilets. There are 2 friendly dogs on site - watch your stuff to avoid dog pee and look out for dog droppings.

Well maintained, helpful security, dogs are friendly, good Wifi in the front part. Quiet, except for the constant fireworks, which always stop around 10 p.m.and starts at 5.00 a.m.

We had a really great time here. It had a clean pool, showers with hot water sometimes, dump everywhere. It's well maintained and the price of 300p per vehicule per night is OK. We asked to stay in the back part which is all grassy.

we slept there 1 night. new price from 2024: 300 pesos. The shower doesn't have hot water, it's lukewarm...go there just after sunset. calm night. 25 minutes walk from the center. I recommend.

Nous avons passé une nuit dans ce camping avec dump, eau et électricité.
Les douches et toilettes sont très propres et bien entretenus.
Il y a une piscine, un grand terrain, idéale pour les enfants.

Report Check-In

Clean toilets/shower, but no soap or TP. Grassy area for parking. The husky was chained during the day, but loose at night. So was able to walk our dog with some caution. Paid 250 MXN for the night, Bodega Aurrera (Mexican Walmart) across the street with other chain restaurants. So I'd say a good place for one night only. Walking to Centro probably takes about 30 mins.

Report Check-In

Great location to explore the area. Flat parking spots with green. The owners dogs are annoying, but toss a few pebbles their way and they will leave you alone. Refreshing swimming pool too. Be sure to check out Café Pajchá. An amazing restaurant 2 blocks away. Friendly staff, fresh roasted coffee, delicious poblano mole, and the best hot chocolate I have ever had. The staff is excited to share how to roast coffee beans and how to make authentic hot chocolate. Enjoy!

Report Check-In

Cold reception. One of the security guys is friendly, but the other one not so much. Pool is dirty - unusable. The water pressure at the tap is decent. Toilets don't have TP or soap. Good showers. Generally quiet at night, no noise (you are in a city!). Only in one of the nights one of the dogs was barking at 2 AM.

Cholula city center is 20 minutes away, felt safe even at night. We particularly enjoyed Restaurante MILLI. You can uber everywhere.

Report Check-In

Location is great, showers are hot but this is more of a parking than a campground.

Pool was green and dirty, electricity is sketchy and their dogs are annoying, the big husky tried to enter our rig (we have dogs so he could smell the food). This dog was also stealing our dogs toys and he is very territorial and came pee on our rig every days …

Ok spot for a night or two but thats it

Report Check-In

Staff friendly. Still as usual. Pool dirty.

Report Check-In

DOG OWNERS: Turned up with our puppy. Their giant huskie was trying to climb through the truck window. Turns out their two dogs aren’t friendly to all dogs. We asked for our money back and left as it’d be impossible to safely even take her to pee. Staff were grumpy about our decision. Think twice if you have dogs.

Stayed here for four nights. Plenty of space and relatively quiet. It's about a 15-20 minute walk into Cholula and a 30-40 minute bus ride into Puebla. Grocery stores in walking distance. We paid 250 Peso per night.

Very quiet and safe. Hot shower in the evening, electricity, dumping, water. 250 pesos for a RV + 2 people. Taxi to Puebla 120.

Report Check-In

Still the best place to camp when visiting Puebla, but not what it used to be pre-COVID. Be sure to check out the observation tower. There are tamales down by the OXXO starting about 8AM. Around the corner by OXXO is Los Aguacates, a tacos asado place. We bought half a kilo of arrachera (flank steak) and oh BOY was it wonderful. In town, be sure to try a cemita sandwich. Buen viaje!

Report Check-In

Great place and location. Friendly staff. An Uber driver lives here and the gate attendant can connect you. Parking up top is closer to bathrooms and showers. Be sure to climb the water tower for views of the volcanoes and pyramid. La Aguacate, down on the corner, has great food and friendly staff. Tamale and atole vendors open on the corner around 8 am.

Repeat visit (May 2020). $250 for two people. Friendly staff. Water pressure low. Electric no ground - didn’t check voltage. Sewer very slow - use caution. Pool dirty and empty. Not a centavo spent on maintenance. Several rigs and trailers apparently being stored. Cholula and Puebla are outstanding. It’s still a great home base for the area. Excellent Telcel and ATT signals.

Report Check-In

Great location! it's more of a car park for the apartments residence and MANY visitors...with shower, wifi, electric, water, and blocked sewage dump. communal space is rented out as events on weekends , so loud music is to be expected.. . sad really as the potential of this location is great.

Report Check-In

Nice basic green space with a pool and very friendly owners. We were just frustrated that the wifi did not work for us, even when we moved directly in front of the guards house, which was what the guard recommended to us after we complained. Connection was lost after a few second all the time, on all our devices and on all the campground's networks. As others have mentioned - great view from the water tower - sunset must be great up there.

It's in a slightly shady industrial area, so would recommend to take a cab in the evening even though it would only be 20 minutes walk into town.

Report Check-In

Positives

Safe and secure location on a quiet street
Laundry service down and across the street
Nice pool and well maintained grounds
Choice of sunny grassy areas or shady cobblestone camping areas
Dog friendly
No bugs!

Cons

You need to have someone turn on the hot water heater, otherwise it’s solar heated and tepid in the afternoon at best
Women’s toilets are a mess and closed down.
Residents come and go constantly, and the area is hired out as a car park, so petty theft is a concern
Loud music played by residents from their cars at night

Report Check-In

Big entrance gate with always some one to let you in. 250 peso full hookup. Birds everywhere. Hot shower and quiet place. Easy walk to the Pyramide 15 m. Great pastellerias and homemade chocolate on that route

Report Check-In

Good place to stay. Friendly staff. Still 250 peso per night ( 2P and camper). Could be five stars if they renovated the bathrooms with the showers. Don't miss the view from the water tower to Popocatépetl !!

Report Check-In

Great internet now, even at the far end of the parking lot! Hot showers only when there is sun as the water is solar heated.

Report Check-In

After we collected at least 20 big dog shits (they have 2 big dogs) to have a clean spot for our motorhome, we had some pleasant days staying there. Climbing up the water tower gives you a marvelous view of Vulcán Popocatépetl. Nice fire pit hidden in the greenery.

Report Check-In

As described before, safe, quiet and clean place. Walking distance to Cholula center where we can recommend Restaurant Calabria. Still 250Peso per night.

Report Check-In

I checked into this place after leaving San Miguel de Allende, 250 pesos per night. I was the only one here. Too cold to swim in the pools but everything looked clean and wonderful. Definitely park closer to the center of the park as Wi-Fi wouldn’t reach my parking spot. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful campsite in a great location to explore Cholula and Puebla. This is an established campground with water, electric, and dumps at each site with nice grassy areas. This is located in an apartment complex with several buildings with residents all around so people are constantly coming and going. With that said, it's still quiet. It's gated with a 24 hour attendant to let you in and out as you need. Great showers with hot water, and beautiful renovated bathrooms with toilets. There is a pool which is lovely although it was drained in our most recent stay (due to COVID-19). We've stayed twice here and loved it both times. There are 2 dogs on site, one which ate a hole in our outdoor mat, so don't leave things outside!

Report Check-In

This park is convenient for visiting Cholula and Puebla. For Cholula main plaza and pyramid the kombucha/collectivo picks up in front of the San Diego shopping plaza nearby. The park is pleasant with great shade. Toilets by the pool

are fine though no water in taps and showers by main gate are kind of grubby but good pressure and hot. It is too bad the maintenance is so poor — dog poop everywhere, overflowing garbage in toilets, pool is dirty etc. Could be so much more but as the only game in town, good for a few days on the way to or from Oaxaca.

Lovely park. Easy to find and easy for us to maneuver in our 38ft MH. Looking forward to exploring the City!

Report Check-In

We stayed here two nights with our van. Nice big camping area with clean toilets and hot, clean showers. Gated property with 24 hr security.
A few friendly dogs on site which our little pup had fun playing with.

Nice easy walk into Cholula Centro and to the ruins/ pyramid nearby. 250 peso/night. We enjoyed our stay.

Report Check-In

Very nice place. Stable electric, decent water pressure without pump, sewer hookups, very accommodating staff. We realized we had a damaged tire upon arrival. The guard arranged for it to be taken off, repaired with a patch with pictures, returned and reinstalled for $10. The guard also arranged four a profane truck to come out the next morning to fill up a couple of our propane tanks for $10 each. Locked gate with guard 24 hours. Beautiful property, friendly campers with a couple full-time. Dog friendly, but no one picks up poop, so watch your step!😂
I would highly recommend!

Report Check-In

This place is excellent, fully walled and 24hr security guards. Everyone that works there obviously takes great pride in this place. They are very helpful and keep the grounds well maintained. One guard recommended a place for us to get our laundry done that was close by. We have two dogs and never had an issue with the dogs on-site. None of the dogs showed any type of aggression. If fact, they may be seen as too friendly as the husky was quite infatuated with our female border collie. Water, electrical, and sewage drain were all supplied and in working order. The bathrooms by the pool are kept very clean. The pool, though we did not use it was kept clean as well. We stayed 4 days. We did inquire about long term rates and were told by the owner that weekly is1500MX and 4500MX for a month. Daily is 250MX.

Report Check-In

For us this place has been great, we visited a few times from April through September 2019. The area is a large courtyard with some wealthy houses, Airbnb’s and an established camping area with power and water.

Toilets- their in good shape, just use the ones they tell you to use, the dirty ones aren’t owned by the company that does the camping.

DOG NEWS
We have a now 2 year old 25kg/55lb female dog and we return for her, she gets so much exercise with the dogs here.
On site dogs:
- <1 year male husky- owned by staff or campground -timid, playful and steals things to destroy them.
- >2 year male border collie- owned by a permanent resident -great with our dog but pee’s on things.
- >3 year Male Weimaraner- owned by campground -great with our dog, eats shoes and anything else left out.
- >5 year female mix- she is aggressive but maintained. She stayed by the guard gate and usually on a leash. We have not had a problem with her but we have never gotten close to her

Report Check-In

Good option if you don’t want to be in the center of town. The grounds are nice, with flat grassy areas to park. Facilities can be a little hit or miss, but not as bad as other comments have made it out to be. Bathrooms are clean, hot showers, good pressure, but you have to use the ones by the security guards. Dogs were friendly with us, some poop around, just watch your step. No gunshots, just normal Mexican mortars/fireworks. WiFi nonexistent. A little expensive for what it is, the camping feels like an afterthought, but we were expecting way worse. Stayed two nights, no issues. 30 minute walk to town was lovely.

Report Check-In

Stayed two nights here. Quiet place. 2km from ´. Would not recommend. Some dumping stations are blocked. Showers so dirty you can't use them. three agressive dogs not on leash inthe camping.
Have been attacked twice. 250 pesos per night.

Report Check-In

Spacious parking. Pretty quiet for downtown parking. Modern Showers and toilets, but ask the guard to turn the hot water heater up.. they have 3 dogs but they are well behaved. Swimming pool with beds. Shade or sunshine. 2km to downtown..

Report Check-In

On Saturday night there were people partying in the pool area from 7 to 10 pm. Terrible music playing really loud. The day after they left rubbish everywhere.
I don’t think they should allow this to happen, really unprofessional.
The area in general is quite loud, noises coming from everywhere. There were also regular gunshot which we didn’t understand. One or more every 5 minute or so, maybe 1-2 km from the rv park.
At the entrance there is no sign that says it’s a campround and we did not manage to have internet as it doesn’t reach in some spots.
In general negative experience, however it looks safe, spacious and grass all over the place.

The whole place is well maintained. Pool is clean. Restrooms are very modern and clean. Good showers.
On Saturday there was a group at the pool, talking loud, what can you say?

Report Check-In

Awesome spot to post up for a few days! Beautiful clean bathrooms, hot showers, nice pool, quiet at night for us! 20 min walk to the center of Cholula. FYI There is now a train that goes from Cholula into Puebla, 72pp (cost of card plus cost of journey), but not really worth the money. Super slow. An Uber would have been cheaper and faster!

Report Check-In

Nice pool, hot shower, toilet seats, no paper. well organized with guard.

Report Check-In

As described, but if you stay on a weekend make sure there is no party scheduled for the pool area. when we arrived, we noticed a DJ setting up. I asked the security guards how late the party was scheduled to go to and he said no later than 10PM. Well, it's now 1AM and they are still blasting music. When I say blasting, the bass is literally shaking our rig. I would not recommend this place, if a party is scheduled.

Okay place to stay. The surroundings of the campground do not look very nice, but the complex is guarded 24/7. Big lots. Some areas to park with shade. Electric and water (non potable) at sites. Washrooms and mildly chilly showers. A small pool, broken but functional billiards table, and a rickety mirador. Paid MXN 220/night. Short walk to cholula centre and easy bus to Puebla (take the 14 from the oxxo down the street).

Report Check-In

We stayed 2 nights in the back lot. Wifi doesn't work there but the parking spaces are bigger. Water and sewer hook ups worked well at the site. (Better water pressure than we have seen at some other places). The electricity runs a bit on the high side (our surge protector shut us off about half of the time we were there). Showers are cold. The first night we heard a lot of dogs barking all night. We paid 250 pesos a night.

Report Check-In

Don't expect much, this is more or less a better parking spot. It is nonetheless a good base for trips to cholula & puebla, Bathrooms are a little run but but still ok. WiFi signal is weak (you will need an extender or need to walk into the garden).

250 MX per night for a site with electric and water (no dump station). We parked across the little bridge and backed up against the trees. Quiet at night. Bathrooms ok but odd. Each of the two bath rooms ("room" was about 12 x 12) had one toilet in the huge room and a sink. Also in the room are two shower bays, but only one worked. Showers tepid. They "fixed" the wifi, but it never worked. Huge grocery store a few blocks away (leave RV park going right and turn right at the corner. Follow road to the mall across the big street.

More like a parking lot, lots of traffic during the day. No wifi, decent showers.

Report Check-In

A scary trailer park in Cholula with crappy wifi. This place is just a little run down, but it’s nice to break up the drive if you are headed south from Mexico City down towards Oaxaca. Cholula is a charming city worth seeing.

Report Check-In

we would recommend you NOT stay here – PROS: electric and water hookups – CONS: free wifi never materialized, small dog in tiny cage the entire time we were there, large aggressive dog wandering the property, some sort of dance party in the parking lot next to us until 4am, someone reversed into our truck, filthy bathrooms, expensive for what you get – 220 pesos/night

Report Check-In

- 220 pesos
- wifi in lobby (doesn't reach the camp spots so well)
- hot showers
- everything looks a bit post-apocalyptic (like in every other mexican campground)

Report Check-In

Creepily empty RV park. We were promised hot showers and wifi, but none materialized. One set of bathrooms were decently clean, the other was trashed, electricity was available, $15/night was way too much in our opinion so we only spent one night.

Price: $15/night

Report Check-In

Nice big area with grass for tent campers. There was a big indoor common area with power, chairs and tables. Wifi didn't reach the sites far from the buildings.

Report Check-In

Good place, near Puebla, electricity, water, dumping, bad wifi. Quiet at night. Collective bus to Pueblo peso 6 - / person. (Taxi 70 - Pesos) Peso Night 250 -

Cholula near Sam's Club and Bodega Aurrera, hard to find without GPS. When oxo turn into the cross street.

Report Check-In

Good base for day trips to Puebla. From the Oxxo take the blue bus with inscription "Route 14, Puebla" (6 pesos / person). For Mexican standards relatively well-kept place with ok bathrooms. No water in the pool. Electricity / water / waste water at site.

(Originally 250 pesos / day, but by action came the discount)
