A free, established campsite that’s right off of Stratton Rd. There is a fire ring, but it requires a permit. Great for a van and lots of spots to pitch a tent. Max stay is 14 days. The site is tucked in the trees a bit, but it’s right next to the road so you can hear and see cars passing. There’s another identical site a bit down the road (turning right out of this site).
Also, it’s right on the river and near a bog area, so the mosquitos can be relentless.

Visited with 15 ft travel trailer. Couple spots good for vans or small campers. About 3-4 sites for tents. About 10 minutes outside town. Road noise but not bad at night
Report Check-InLittle pullout camp with a fire ring. Tons of trash and an abandoned tent. Right next to the road and creek. Saw two moose on the way there. Bugs were awful
