Great spot right off the highway for quick overnight parking. We were the only vehicle here. Could just barley hear highway noise with our window open.

Beautiful lake close to home. Used it to test out our RTT. Saturday morning was busy with a lot of boats coming in early. And some cars in and out over night. Very few people camping. Only downfall which isn’t that bad is the noise from the interstate. Great quick place off highway for a night stay.

Great spot! About 5 spots I see with lots of room. the lake allowed electric motors only, and the bathroom is a standard vault style (no running water).
very clean, very nice, easy access.

Stayed two nights, nice and quiet, few people fishing during the day, but would definitely stay here again.

Report Check-In

great, quiet place. the second gravel lot in the back offers wind protection, more privacy and no noise from the highway. the gravel road is hard-packed, no ruts, no low-hanging trees. the trail around the lake is perfect for a morning walk. clean bathrooms, dumpster emptied frequently. all in all, an ideal spot for an overnight or several days.

Great spot, not only for a quick overnight stay but to stay awhile and hike, fish or just hang out.

Pretty good spot for the night! Level gravel spots to park. It was dark when we arrived and dark when we left so we didn’t get to see the lake. It was Saturday night, and we got the last spot. Seems to be 4 spots I believe. Mostly quiet other than some highway noise and Saturday night people noise! But everyone calmed down before 10 pm!

Quick off Hwy. easy to get to. No one here but me.

There is kind of a sharp turn to the left and then up a steep gravel road with several ruts and low hanging trees to get to the main parking area which is very big and flat. Immediately following the steep hill to the left is a pretty flat and half secluded designated camping spot. To the right down a ways is another camping spot with lots of shade. Before the parking area it looks like what used to be a gravel road down to another camping spot in a big field. If you go past the parking area there is the fourth camping spot overlooking the lake. The road keeps going up to a turn around but the road has a few ruts and low hanging trees. We have a 2500hd pulling a 30 ft fifth wheel and we made it up the steep hill ok but my husband was concerned about the lack of gravel and turning around capabilities at the camping spots for our rig, as well as the low hanging trees. We decided to just park along the parking area, which technically there is a sign that says overnight parking in designated camping spots. A few locals came by. One said we could get a ticket for parking in the parking area but we risked it and no ticket. We were the only ones who camped there and no one bothered us. Beautiful spot. It was hot and we did take a dip in the lake. Its a nice spot but looks like it could use some maintenance in regards to gravel roads to camp spots and trees.

Very nice. A few spots. Might be hard to get a big RV up the entrance road. It’s skinny, steep, and has new gravel. But otherwise this place is great. Quite aside for some highway noise. The lake is nice, pit toilets, plenty of fire pits and campsites.

Beautiful, clean, well kept spot to park for a night...or more. Tons of shade and a small, clean lake.

Bathroom (kinda gross) and trash dumpster provided. I'm marking it to stay here again on my way thru.

Large gravel area next to the small lake. Camping allowed for up to 14 days. Free. Designated sites for about 4 campers. Cannot see the highway as there is a forest around the lake, but you can hear the noise from far.
