Be very careful what you come here to have fixed. We had our suspension fixed, and then asked them to do a general check of the car. They found a million small things, which we then asked them to do. However, after we left we had more problems than before… our brakes were leaking, we had weird noises coming from one wheel, and our steering was noisy. They are not doing any test drives as far as I know. When we were supposed to leave, they realized the suspension was still not working as it should because of an electrical issue. So we had to wait a few hours more. After driving for 3 hours we had to come all the way back because the brake light came on. We showed them, and they simply refilled the brake fluid. They didn’t check if there was a leak!? So of course it didn’t take long before we had the problem again. They also tightened our p-brake, but it took only a week for it to be really loose again. What I’m trying to say is: Be careful! And make sure to check if everything has been done correctly. We paid a lot for very little.

Very competent workshop. They had all spareperts on stock. Compared to Europe the repair was very cheap.

Took our Hiace here to have fluids replaced. They had air filtrt (model specific) and oil filter on stock even though car is from 1994. 2.4d engine. Fuel filter they didnt have. But that could have been ordered in.
Mechanic did a good job and also found a small leak. They think about you making a big trip.
I asked for a possible compression test, and that could only be done some days later because one mechanic was busy. So there is probably one real expert, if any engine needs to be taken apart. They have quite some 70 series in maintenance.

The main Toyota dealership and service. Professional and not very expensive. Two guys spoke decent English.
They service many NGO Landcruisers.
You can watch and learn and check if they do everything ok if you want.
Two young guys worked on our car and forgot to check some things. Knowledgeable mechanic came by just every now and then.
Hourly rate about 150-200 somoni. Parts are more expensive here than in nearby shop(s).
Good wifi while you wait :)
