Description

Quiet overnight place just before Loreto on a small lake. Young people have opened the entrance fence to the bathroom, since no one was there. Later came an "official" and gave us electricity and even stayed here.
Electricity / water / toilets

Nice camping to spend the night. Quite, safe and pet friendly (off season). Bathrooms are open but it seems they haven't been used in a while.

Wow ! Amazing !
perfect campground with room for big rigs, free water, free electricity, playground and beach. (toilets are closed)
We even saw a caïman in the lake at sunset !

We wouldn't have spent the night here has we not had mechanical problems. Quiet (off season) and stayed for free - no one checked in on us. Lights on all night. BBQ areas, some covered.
Topped up with water. Avoid the toilets.

Nice place to stay when it's dry!! Army has just let us through to the camp site because he knows Land Rovers can swim..😅 The whole village of Loreto is under water the same as most of Corrientes. Nothing is open, we're just happy to have a bit of high ground. The Lake now reaches Paraguay. ..😨

great, quite place near the small citiy of loreto. good support from alejandro, "manager" of the small camping on the lake.
camping for free!

Report Check-In

Free during off-season from April to November.
The person in charge does not get paid much money to mantian the place.
Gave him a bit of money to buy cleaning stuff for the toilets.
Great place, very quiet once the locals are gone.

Report Check-In

I think it is supposed to be closed due to the beach area being flooded but the local guys working there let us in to camp. There are lights and bbq areas and a few dirty toilets and sinks. The locals are very friendly but we couldn't understand a word they said!
